Buyer beware. I had purchased a gold chain necklace in the past and was happy with my purchase so I decided to go back and purchase another one for my wife. I got a faulty 18k chain that broke after 2 uses. I went back to get it fixed, which they did, but the necklace broke again after 1 use. The chain was not properly fixed. When I went back a third time, they refused a refund or exchange with a similar item. They only gave me a 14k gold chain when I had originally bought an 18k. Very bad business. The worst thing was giving my wife such a disappointing gift when it should have been a happy moment.
Edit/Response: We take really great care of our jewelry and have pieces that have lasted 40+ years. With the original purchase, she wore it twice out when it broke. After repair, she only wore it once to church and it broke. We do not sleep in our jewelry. The store would only give an exchange with a lesser value item. May be a blessing in disguise as I was thinking about purchasing a rolex and gold bars, but now I am aware of how their store functions. Also, I found it weird that a jewelry store was trying to...
Read moreFor years, I have been shopping at Joyeria Internacional / International Jewelers in El Paso, Texas. They offer on-site jewelry repair. I've gone and had my watch batteries replaced while I wait and browse. They're always open ON TIME, which is a big plus for me. It's a comfortable, pleasant atmosphere, where you're greeted with kindness and professionalism. They offer both high-end, exclusive designs and moderate, fine jewelry. There's something for every price budget...and I do like that! I've made several 'impulse' purchases just because I wanted to treat myself to something not too expensive but just fun and practical! I also purchased a lovely platinum diamond ring setting for a fine Brazilian emerald my husband gave me. Trust me, folks...you don't want to miss this 'gem' of a jewelry store. Thumbs up! Top shelf designs at J.I. in El...
Read moreRecently purchased this lovely hand-carved Hummingbird by artist, Peter Mueller at Joyeria Internacional located in El Paso, Texas. Absolutely love it and have it prominently displayed where my friends & family can view it in my home. It is truly a work of art, as it is a one of a kind piece made exclusively from natural precious stones mined directly from Mother Earth. Have received several compliments on it and since I'm an energy worker, I feel like it's added to the good, POSITIVE ENERGY flow of my environment. The owner, Leticia Diamond, was kind and allowed me to put it on layaway for a generous period of time! Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase, THANK YOU Joyeria Internacional for an all around, pleasant...
