El Paso Live — Attraction in El Paso

I attended an event at El Paso Live today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with their catering service. As someone with a serious cheese allergy, I was surprised and frustrated to discover that there were no meal options available for me. Nearly every dish served contained cheese, and when I inquired, I was told that I should have made a request in advance.

When an alternative was finally brought out, it was made with vegan cheese. While I understand the attempt to accommodate, vegan cheese is still not safe for me due to my allergy. When I explained this, I was told there was nothing else they could provide. That left me with no safe options to eat during the event.

For a venue of this size and reputation, I expected more flexibility and preparation for common dietary restrictions like allergies. At the very least, there should be a few basic, allergy-friendly meal alternatives readily available without requiring advance notice. Food allergies are not just preferences—they are health concerns, and venues should take them seriously.

Unfortunately, today’s experience left me unable to enjoy any of the catering and feeling overlooked as a guest. I hope El Paso Live considers improving their catering practices by ensuring that allergy-conscious options are always available and by training staff to handle these situations...

The venue was clean the staff was visible and friendly, though for the 4 day event we attended there was not a great deal of interaction. We just utilized the space. The 1 star review is for the food. They could not manage to make enough to feed the people attending the event. Even though each person had a ticket for each night THEY FAILED TO MAKE ENOUGH FOOD 3 NIGHTS IN A ROW. The quality of the food was bad, very bad. One night was a small baked potato, half. You had to ask for both halves the topings were butter, sour cream, chives, shredded cheese and bacon pieces. This was not an entree. The last night was a sit down, meal. Terrible service so unprofessional‼️ I've been trying to get information about the venues. I’m getting married next year and they haven’t responded my email with the quotes or ANYTHING!
