Priddy Jewelers — Attraction in Elizabethtown

I took my rings to get cleaned and fixed as I had lost a stone from both my engagement ring and band. We found out we didn’t have insurance on my band, nor were we even offered it when they custom made it for us. The engagement ring was insured and we were given a 3 week turn around time. After 4 weeks I started calling to find out what the hold up was and why I hadn’t heard anything. On Wednesday I was told I’d hear back that day. I called again Friday and was told the company that insured my ring was struggling to find my plan. So they couldn’t fix it yet. When I asked why I hadn’t been called they couldn’t really give me an answer. After another week or so they texted me on a Friday saying the engagement ring was fixed but they band was still having issues. I asked for a quote on the band repair and was quoted $100. I had to go out of town suddenly and went to pick my rings up a few weeks later and I was then told I owed $300. I said I had been quoted $100 and they gave a little push back saying that’s what the jeweler had initialed. I said the engagement ring should have been free since it was insured but understand I owed for the band. Finally they let me pay the $100 and leave saying they would get in touch if I owed more.

I’m ecstatic!! Both rings needed repair. Ring on the left needed a diamond replaced. Right had a spot on the band that broke. They repaired, re-dipped in white gold, replaced big diamond , and replaced little diamonds missing from both bands. They look brand new 😍 I’ve been going to Priddy’s for years. The only place I trust with my jewelry. Great family owned business, with reasonable prices, and great customer services. I’m over the moon. Thank you! PS Photo does not do it justice!

People saying their estimate doubled were not paying attention when dropping off their ring. My receipt was priced at drop off for re-dip, and to fix a prong and that did not include anything else ($137). To think that is the total including diamonds would be ridiculous to assume. She specifically told me that it didn’t include diamonds or break in the band. It’s impossible for them to take a quick glance and tell you. The jeweler has to use equipment that magnifies your ring to get a good look. Then they send you a message, after he looks, where you have to accept or deny repair. They don’t just go ahead and repair it. I’m sorry, but I’m not buying it. Either someone is trying to get something for nothing or buyers remorse. Just my opinion. My husband and I stopped by Priddy Jewelers before Christmas to browse their selection. Dawn noticed a dragon necklace that I was wearing and directed us to a similar bracelet in the display case. I tried it on and was instantly in love with it. It was a no-pressure experience filled with conversation about the meaning of different pieces I had on. Dawn showed us other options we could order and we left to consider what we would do.

On Christmas Eve, my husband returned to buy the one in the store, as I couldn’t get it off my mind. Dressed as Santa, he surprised me that afternoon as we were leaving to celebrate the holiday. I have worn it several times over the past week and it has caught the eye of many. Not only is it beautiful, it is a wonderful conversation piece.
