Was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this tour of this historic home. If you're in Elkhart this is definitely something that you should stop and see. Great explanation of how the city was founded and how it got its name. Unfortunately they don't let you take pictures inside. There is parking around the back but it is limited. Staff was super friendly and very informative.

I attended a Fairy Garden workshop tonight. The instructor (the grounds gardener) was friendly and helpful and my teacup fairy garden turned out adorable!

this is the original house that was built by the founding fathers of Elkhart Indiana and what a neat place to go and visit!! While visiting family my aunt had suggested we go here and it was a delightful tour that lasted almost an hour and a half. It showcases the history and the makings of the mills in the area around the 3 rivers that converge there. A definite must see if...
