Last night, I went to the location in Emeryville (Bay Street) and had the WORSE customer service. I arrived there at approximately 7:25pm (the store closes at 8pm) to return four items that were purchased on two separate credit cards. When Mya (cashier) returned the items in their system, she placed all items on one credit card and when I informed her that they needed to be returned to both original credit cards, that's when the problem occurred. Due to her doing what she wanted to do with my money, the transaction became complicated and she was unable to process it. She had one manager come to the front to assist me. She tells me that because the system shows the return now locked, they will have to place my refund on on gift card. Was it my fault that she processed it incorrectly? No, so I want it back on my original method of payment (my credit cards) which was on both receipts. Then this manager walks away without saying a word because because some girls were stealing. Then the manager (Rachelle) comes to assist which had no clue of what to do. They had me just standing there for about 30 minutes while they continued assisting other customers and not letting me know what was going on. Customer service was finally called and assisted the both of them. They both kept just passing me off on one another withBottom line, a simple transaction ended up wasting over an hour of my time which had me late picking up my daughter from school, I didn't leave out of there until 8:39pm. To put the icing on the cake, once I left, I received a call from Customer Service because she forgot to get the expiration date of my credit card. This was HORRIBLE service and neither Mya nor Rachelle showed any concerns of how they waisted my time, they were more concerned...
   Read moreshopping here is generally okay although thereâs often a long wait for the fitting rooms because thereâs so few of them. today in particular, not only did I spend forever waiting for the customers in front of me, the employee in charge of the fitting room was called to back something up, so we ended up waiting for empty fitting rooms after the previous customers came out and the doors auto locked and no staff was taking care of the fitting rooms. I kept looking at the employee who called the fitting room employee away every single time she walked past the line for the fitting room and she never made the initiative to come help. Finally I went over to the cashier myself and informed her that there was no staff available to unlock the fitting rooms. She did come over to unlock the doors for me then but also responded with âGive us a moment okay? We have a guest coming today.â probably because she heard my annoyance. total lack of sense of responsibility + total disregard for customersâ time. shifted the blame onto the guest without apologizing at all- completely unacceptable attitude. You having a guest does not mean you can neglect your existing customers. If your CEO were to come they would not want you ignoring your customers.    Read moreI give this location a 1 overall because there was only 1 coworker that assisted me when I walked in the store with my family.I came in with my husband and daughter to purchase items for myself.When we first got in the store I asked the employee helping me if we could leave our daughter's stroller in the front off to the side.She made it seem like it was okay for my husband and daughter to stay in the front of the store with the stroller.While my family waited for me I tried on 2 items in the fitting room.When I came out I went to the check out line to purchase the 2 items.As soon as I came back towards the front of the store I asked my husband if everything was okay.His facial expression told me he was uncomfortable.He would later tell me after we left that the security came to the front and stared at my husband and daughter.He also admitted he could hear the employees on their communication system asking why my daughter's stroller was parked in the front of the store.This store racially profiled my whole family based on my race.I'm so upset about this as an African-American that has never stolen anything in my life!
