I had an absolutely terrible experience with Porsche of Englewood. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change on July 7th. During the visit, I was informed by the service advisor that my car had two oil pan seals leaking, despite never seeing any signs of oil leakage in my garage. Trusting their judgment, I authorized the repair.

A few days later, I was told the car was no longer leaking after “close observation” and was ready for pickup. I took my car for a drive on beautiful Sunday afternoon, only to be met with a dashboard warning after 100 miles, stating, “oil below minimum, refill oil at once.” To my shock, I noticed oil residue all over the rear bumper and passenger side quarter panel.

I immediately called the service advisor, who instructed me to bring the car back in. This time, I was told that the issue occurred because my car needed new spark plugs and a coil pack. Trusting their expertise, I agreed to have the work done.

My car was in their shop for two and a half weeks. Finally, the advisor called and assured me that the technician had driven the car for 30 miles, and it was running “beautifully.” I arranged to pick up the vehicle.

However, just 17 minutes and 4.2 miles after picking up my car, it completely broke down in the left lane of a major highway. When I got out, I saw a pool of oil beneath the car. I checked the mileage—25,324 miles. I had dropped it off with 25,312 miles. They clearly never drove it for 30 miles as they claimed.

I contacted the dealership again, and this time I spoke with the service manager. I had my car towed back to Porsche of Englewood. A week later, they called me and said my engine was damaged. To make matters worse, they informed me that I would be solely responsible for the cost of the damages, even though their previous advisor (who conveniently no longer works there) had assured me the car was running perfectly.

When I expressed my frustration, I was told I would need to “test drive” the vehicle myself to ensure it was running properly. Isn’t that their job as the technicians and experts? In addition, they said the best thing they could offer me was a partial discount on a new engine which was about $102,000 (which they advised me that it was a very great deal for a GT3 engine).

This dealership offered no solutions, no accountability, and absolutely no help. Their incompetence left me stranded on the highway, and their customer service was downright appalling. I would strongly advise avoiding Porsche of Englewood if you care about your vehicle and your...
