Waitress was a very sad individual and had a problem understanding me. Not sure what her native language was, but she clearly hasnt made an effort on English. Bench seats were all cracked and need of replacement. Silverware was not cheap and very clean. No interior decorating whatsoever. Storefront window were very dirty and some were fogged up making it very difficult to see in. Menu was torn up in sections and taped to the front window so people will know what they are signing up for. Menu was made of one sheet of computer paper folded in half with tiny print. I had lunch special typical 2 cheese slices and a drink. Pizza really tasted good, but they served it on a slippery plastic plate that wasnt nearly large enough. Consequently both slices were draped over the edge of the plate. I couldn't slice the pizza with a knife because the dough was rubbery, like it might have been in the microwave. I gave up trying to cut it and ate it by holding it, which I never do. I hate giving bad reviews because I know it will adversely impact their business. But this place is not a serious business. They dont have high expectations from their customers and their customers don't have high expectations of them. So, I guess it works for Eustis,...
Read moreWent to Roma last night for the first and last time. Pros: Tea was good Cons: Long wait time after ordering, over 30 minutes and the waiter did not stop by during this time. (There was only a couple besides us there, they were not busy) No garlic came on the pizza which was listed as "Fresh garlic" Watched and heard the waitress put down the calzone that should have been for our table at the table in front of us, then a minute or two come back out and pull it away saying she mixed them up with another table. And wouldn't ya know we got served that calzone moments later. When finishing up dinner here, instead of being asked if we would like dessert, we were told "I assume you don't want dessert", which was the truth, but who says something like that?! They also use bathroom cleaner to clean to the tables, which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't do the table in front and next to us to were we thankfully had already paid and could get out of there to be able to breathe. Two thumbs down...
Read moreI don't usually post reviews of the places I visit, but this was too much for me: they offered me water and they weren't able to bring me a glass, even without ice. I ordered wings with garlic and parmesan sauce, and apparently they don't have a blender, so what they brought me was canola oil with crushed garlic and a little less than 3 grams of parmesan. Not to mention that the waitress brought the wrong sauces. The wings were literally damaged. For God's sake, if the chicken is damaged, it's worth throwing it in the trash. I didn't cook it. And I don't want to get into the issue of inclusion or welcome. They looked at us as if we were from another planet, as if they had never seen brown-skinned Latinos. And I'm going to express that to my friends...
