Based on a positive review I read, we decided to try this restaurant last night. I saw from the website that the place was kind of stark but with no paintings on the wall, no music, no carpeting, bright lights and people standing at the doorway waiting to be seated in one of the two long rows of tables along the wall, it felt like eating in a noisy and cold cafeteria. We went to the desk and asked for seating for 2. He said it would be a few minutes and we understood. In the meantime, other people came in the front door and were being seated so we went and stood there. 3 tables opened up and and all the people who came in after us had their order taken and delivered before us. Nobody seemed to be paying attention. My husband ordered the Salmon Tandoori and I ordered Tikka Masala with vegetables. My husband liked his salmon but I found my dish lacking. The sauce was slightly sweet and I've never had a sweet Masala sauce and all the vegetables were primarily carrots. We had ordered Dahl (lentil soup) with the meal and it never came. I told them to take it off the check when our meal came and there was no soup but it was still on the check when the server came with the bill. She also had given me someone elses bill while we were eating. There were 3 people in all managing what was something like 15-20 tables. Way too much for essentially one server and one busperson. I will never go back here again. When I complained the waitress seemed to give me a canned reply with no...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Red Chilly, an exceptional Indian and Mediterranean restaurant located in Everett, WA, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and warm, a perfect setting for a memorable meal.
The customer service was top-notch; the staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about our satisfaction.
Now, let's talk about the food - it was absolutely divine. The Tandoori Chicken was seasoned to perfection, juicy and flavorful, a true testament to the authentic cooking methods used here. The Butter Chicken was creamy, rich, and packed with flavors that danced on the palate. Both dishes were served in generous portions, making them perfect for sharing or indulging in a hearty meal.
But the star of the show for me was their Tandoori Delight appetizer. It's a must-try for anyone visiting Red Chilly; the combination of spices and the perfect char on the tandoori items were a delight.
In summary, Red Chilly is a gem in Everett, WA, offering an exceptional dining experience with its superb customer service, inviting atmosphere, and, most importantly, its delectable cuisine. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of the best Indian and Mediterranean...
Read moreI was here to attend an art festival and was late for lunch. Every other place was closed but luckily they were open. It was crowded with the folks who came from out of town for this art festival. The server was really nice who greeted us and gave us the menu to look at. We ordered the appetizer dolma and the main course was curry chicken and naan and since it was too cold outside weather wise we ordered masala chai as well. The food was delicious and we were hungry too. It's a small space but well kept and great service as they checked if we needed anything. One thing we missed is to check what comes with each order. We were expecting naan and chicken curry but the order came with rice and extra naan which became like a challenge for us to finish between two people. Since we were living in a hotel and evening dinner was planned by the event planners we couldn't take the food as a takeout. So just a reminder to make sure what each item comes with the order is important. This is the only Indian restaurant in that area so if you're looking for specifically Indian food then I highly...
