Middleton Brewing — Attraction in Everett

Nice set-up, both family and dog friendly. Some of the furniture is purchased, but most of it appears to be hand-made... as is, apparently, most of the place. It's worth visiting just to enjoy the craftsmanship.

The beers are really good (with a truly awesome cider that drinks far too easily) and a nice selection of flavors that exhibit a pretty good range. My personal preference leans away from IPAs, as bitter, hoppy/piney are not enjoyable for me, so I had some regional biases to overcome. ;-)

Daniel, our bartender/host, was happy to make suggestions and offer samples to get a feel for my preferences. He was also gracious enough to show me around and answer my uninformed questions; his engagement with every customer I observed was complete, and unrushed - definitely top-flight representation.

Middleton Brewing is a great place for friends and family to go who like interesting and tasty beer. They have indoor and outdoor seating and have a good menu even if you don't drink beer or are under 21 and can't drink yet. They make some of the best nachos I've ever had. They also have pizza like nowhere else and they will bake it there for you or you can order take and bake to go. They have a large variety of their own Middleton beers and some guest taps from other local breweries of beer and cider, also bottles of Jones soda. There is always new refreshing beer to try with different flavors and interesting ingredients. The atmosphere is great, very chill and relaxing, and friendly service. The location is tucked away in the back corner of a business park, which I like because it's more secluded and there are cool murals on the walls on the outside of the businesses. Middleton Brewery, where do I start.. The guy behind the counter (Let's call him Brett) was not pleasant as soon as we started ordering.. The keg blew out and he got mad at us about it.. The beer, mediocre at best.. I love beer and I left half a glass full of Hazy IPA.. Maybe, just maybe homeboy working left a bad taste in my mouth so I'm being biased.. My wife liked her Blonde!

The pizza... Don't get me started.. If "My dad just punched a hole in the drywall" was a flavor Middleton would have the perfect recipe.. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza but it came out more like a tropical FedEx box.. The "Signature Crust" was not where it's at, just bad..
