Martin Appliance — Attraction in Exeter Township

Updated 1/1/2020: initially I didn’t write a review and rated a 3 star with no explanation. (I mistakenly hit 3 stars but intended to rate it 4 stars.) The deduction of 1 star was solely on price and decided not to make a purchase here and went elsewhere. Today I received a response from the owner which was a very detailed and thought out response. I may regret my choice if I encounter any problems and need assistance in the future. Clearly this is a company that cares, not only about their bottom line but their customers as well. As a business owner myself I respond to every review. I try to rate and review most businesses I patronize and rarely get a response. I would now give a 5 star rating but if I didn’t make a purchase it wouldn’t be a truly realistic evaluation. I will change this rating to 4 stars as I initially intended but hands down I highly recommend giving a good look at doing business here. If the time and effort was put forth to respond to a 3 star rating with no explanation I’m confident they strive to satisfy every customer and if a problem would arise after the sale they would do any and everything possible to help resolve...

We tried to return/replace our washer & while they seemed open to it, we then never got a call to setup details. Don't buy a top loader washer! Top load without agitator will not clean your clothes! Government regulations limit water for every setting & it is far too restrictive. There is no way to get around the settings, in fact, if added water got into its huge tub, that would likely break the other mechanism so there isn't any way to 'win' with these washers so all brands are the same! Its dryer is fine although settings are hard to set because lights on panel are far too bright-even taking time to turn room light on as contrast, panel lights are blinding. We had wanted Maytag (after ours lasted 20+ years) but they were out of stock. Our top of line GE just didn't do it & all brands were pretty much equal- took this because it had a stain removal option- it's rarely used. I guess we're just not messy & prefer to pre-spray if spotted- it works. We supported local small owner & won't be back as they said OK to our faces but then weren't really open to making arrangements. We'll support...

Had to get a new dishwasher and loved the Bosch brand we previously had. Hit the internet and made a few calls, and quickly found that Martin’s Appliance in Reading had the model I wanted, in stock, on sale and the ability to install it in 5 days. Called Martins and Jonny order, arranged and scheduled the delivery as well as accepting payment for the new unit. I was provided a delivery window and told that they would call before coming.

On delivery day, I got a call from Tyler advising that they had just completed a delivery and that they would be here in a 30 minutes. Tyler and Bryson were prompt, and they were friendly and polite. They set protective materials and removed the old dishwasher and prepped for the new one. The process was really simple and they did an outstanding job of installing the new unit. They cleaned up was little mess was made during the installation and went over the new appliance.
