I wish I could leave zero stars. Making the appointment was easy enough. I saw Linda weinberg crnp. The appointment went horribly. I explained my extensive family history of melanoma and skin cancer, to which she said, "well which one is it? Melanoma or skin cancer? Cuz there's a difference." I was baffled, it's both! But that's beside the point. She was extremely condescending and rude the entire appointment even though I had spots of concern. I asked her what some preventative suggestions would be and she told me to wear sunscreen and long sleeve shirts đ. When I showed her one final spot that hurt she said "well that's the magic word" (which is extremely unprofessional) and I had to have it removed. They removed it just fine and sent it along to the lab. This appointment was in July. I was told it would take around two weeks to get back to me with the results. They kept calling me and we played phone tag the entire time. I left instructions on my paperwork and and in every voicemail I left them that I worked a full time job and needed them to leave the results in my voicemail. They did not follow my instructions until the end of march. The results were "abnormal precancerous cells and you need to make another appointment to come back in and have an excision done". Needless to say I'm not going back there. It is absolutely absurd that it took that long to tell me what is going on and I shouldn't have been spoken to the way that I was . I also called the amiity office to see if they were any better and asked to speak to the office manager to make sure nothing like this happened again ... I called twice and both times I was told she would call me back, she never did so I'm assuming all their offices are run this way . Do...
Read moreDuring both of my last two skin cancer checkups with Morgan I had to have two biopsies for skin cancer. I was not notified that I had skin cancer after either checkup. I was told to expect a call with my test results after two weeks. I started calling the doctorâs office when I did not receive a phone call. I made repeated calls but no one returned my calls.
Finally, after six weeks after my first checkup with no phone call to tell me the biopsy results, I went to the doctorâs office and asked to know the results. I had both basil cell and squamous cell carcinomas. I then had them removed.
After my recent checkup five weeks ago, I again did not receive any phone call with the results, even though I repeatedly called for the results. After three weeks, I had to once again go to the doctorâs office on Penn Avenue, where I learned that I have another squamous cell carcinoma.
A patient with skin cancer should not have to actually go to the doctorâs office to learn that he or she has skin cancer so they can schedule an appointment to have it removed. Skin cancer can be life threatening if it is...
Read moreThis was my first time going to Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners and I was very pleased! I've been to four or five different places and they all told me something different. The doctors would prescribe me antibiotics but they would never go away. No one ever did a biopsy until today, I felt nothing during the biopsy, Dr. Manion and the nurse made me feel at ease and I was relaxed. I'm forward to the results so that I can know what is wrong with me and possibly put these past three years of guessing to rest. Thank you Dr. Manion and your team!
Update I got my stitches out by Jasmin, and Dr. Manion was terrific! He was able to tell me what was actual wrong with me and how I can help my situation. He also referred me to a surgeon, I thank Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners for everything they have. It may not have seemed like a lot was done in those two visits but more was done for me now than the other five places I went to one being another dermatologist. So again, thank you, you honestly don't know what...
