No customer service. I asked a young employee to help me find a particular size t-shirt down the aisle where they had a large selection of Halloween t-shirts. When I told her what size I was looking for, she just said, "no, we're all sold out", mind you, there were tons of t-shirts on the shelves. I went back to the aisle and continued to look. I found the t-shirt I was looking for in the size I was looking for. The store was not busy at all, I just needed a little help finding the correct area to look in. I guess she was too busy planning her next tik tok video. I went back in today and discovered Michaels doesn't carry fabric. Hobby lobby is in the same strip mall, so I thought I would try them. Hobby Lobby had a much larger selection of everything, also had fabric and guess what! They also threw in, just for fun, a little customer service. Imagine my surprise!

My lady and I came here to find our Christmas tree! We found the perfect one on display but couldn’t find it in store. A woman that worked there saw us looking around and asked if she could help. We told her that the tree on stand was perfect but we couldn’t find it. She took the time to look for it herself, couldn’t find it so she checked the back and brought one out. We love our tree, with a few of our touches it’s perfect.

The store was great! However, my cousin and I came looking for chalk spray paint cans. What we were told was a similar product ended up being silly string when we got back to our aunts house. But other than that the store was well organized, and has 100+ little aisles.

Went there this afternoon, store looked very empty. I got in the line with my two little cousins and I see two younger cashiers both at the very end register taking care of a customer, one of the cashiers tell me that the self check out is for card and I had to tell her I know but I’m paying with cash and I didn’t get a response just a mean look. Now it comes to my turn i get to the register, one of my cousins is very talkative and asked the cashier if they get a lot of people coming in anymore because it looks slow inside and all she said was I don’t know, she scans my items and she doesn’t state the total so I have to physically look at the screen myself, now comes to the real issue I hand her a 20$ bill she checked to see if it’s real by holding it up but then she uses the pen and then she puts my 20$ bill through the counterfeit bill detector multiple times that it took her about 2 minutes just to make sure my 20$ bill was real and then she makes a rude expression and opens the register to get my change after that she just hands me the change and my receipt and doesn’t say anything so just I grab my bag and walk out. I get the checking to see if the money is real as I am a manager at a restaurant and it’s a known issue people have been using fake bills, but customer service now days have really gone down hill, why choose a job where your whole purpose is to tend to customers needs if you know you can’t handle it and be nice, I’ve never met a customer service worker that rude before in my life very...

Most awkward experience I've ever had at a Micheals store. Felt like i was being harrassed by the employees. One in particular who was a short older lady with short curly hair abruptly asked, as I was walking minding my own business, if I needed help with anything. Threw me off guard a little, as she was not even looking at me when she said it, so I didnt know who she was talking to. I replied that I was just looking for something. She said under her breath, "just making sure your not up to something." Then as I was leaving, I was waiting to leave at the entrance/exit, and she was there saying, "I'm not sure what YOU'RE doing." While I was waiting for people to leave or exit so I could fit through the door. Felt like overall the employees can be a little pushy. Then again, probably not their fault in this case. Probably a management thing. I've been shopping at different micheals locations for years and have never had a problem. I understand we are in a pandemic, and workers are putting themselves in harm's way to get by. I do too. I get it. Still, I'm never rude to my customers. The world doesnt owe you a favor lady. Stop pointing your finger at it. You should know...

Cashier treated me like she had better things to do. I watched her be bubbly and upbeat with everyone and greet them with "Hi!" or "Hello!" but when it was my turn I didn't even get a hey. I got nothing. She didn't say one word to me except to ask if I wanted a bag, mid purchase.

When I was done I said thank you for my receipt and she said " Mmm hmm." I wanted to ask if I bothered her because she has to do her job? Seriously. But I let it go. As I walked away the next person got a big "HELLO!!!"

Unreal. I called back to the store to complain. Customer service was not there. Dunno if it was race, age, because I was creeping along with my cane and couldn't move fast. No clue. She just wasn't into me as a customer. Was leaving a message for the manager. Turns out it was her who answered the phone. Said she'd turn herself in. Right? Didn't even ask my name.

Unreal day in Michael's land.

Never had that experience...
