I'm taking off a star because the fair is advertised as free but parking is $10. And they take cash only. And there are no other parking spots nearby but there's one that's $5 a little further away. There's just nothing on the street. I'm not complaining about the cost, but least tell people ahead of time so we are prepared.

You can use a card at almost everything except the extras like elephant rides.

This is a small town fair and I love it because it's close, inexpensive and has fun things for the kids to do.

My daughter tried eating a cricket at the insect show, held a turancula, saw some arial gymnastics and the seal show is starting in 20 mins.

She's currently racing rubber duckies.

There's a mix of businesses, food and fun activities for the kids.

The petting zoo had a unicorn, adorable pigs, chickens, baby zebra, baby camels and pony. Bring your camera, cute photo opp! You can pay $1 to get a cup of feed but the animals didn't seem hungry probably with so many kids offering them for.

There are performances at different stages. We didn't make it to see the exhibits.

It's hot so bring sunglasses, water, hats, sunscreen. But there's a Davis hospital booth giving away cold water this year so...

I have to say that I like the fair and it is fun for the family, but it only gets one star because of the cost of parking. I mean come on Davis County. $7 to $10 for parking at the Davis County Fair... Parking used to be free. So now I park at Station Park and walk. That way I can save my money for the vendors and get the kids more treats that I otherwise would have if I pay for parking..., at the Davis County Fair..., a fair that's fun but not really anything to write home about. Of course I can't forget that if you take a food donation you get $2 off parking. So if you really want to pay for parking and feel good about yourself, take some food to donate. Or take some food anyway to donate, and park at Station Park to beat the system and feel good about yourself all at the same time. Drop the parking fee Davis County! The citizens might grow to like you a...

I don't usually find myself attending events in multi-purpose arenas, but recently I did and it was a great experience! The Legacy Events Center is a large, indoor arena that can be used for various types of events. We were there for a ballroom dancing event and the space was great. Some might even say there was more space than needed, but let's be honest, when there are hundreds of dancers, costumes, space needed for warming up, and all that goes with it, this space was great!

There are plenty of seats, both chair style with armrests and bleachers. The width of the seating area offers MANY good places to view the event, and the building wasn't too echoey given the concrete floor. I would definitely recommend attending a dance sport event in this building. They even have on-site concessions and vending for a quick snack or...

I was at Legacy for a rescheduled soccer game. Usually legacy fields are good, but unfortunately this time we had to play on the horrible field. I understand why but it's still frustrating when you know the quality of the main fields. The maintenance staff was friendly and helpful to have the field set up and direct both teams to the correct field. Parking isn't always great but for this day there was enough available. The fields were very clean.
