Kroger Marketplace — Attraction in Farragut

This market is great. It has a pharmacy on site and a very well stocked vitamin isle and supplements. It has great variety of woman products along with male. They have a good sexual choice with condoms, oils, toys, make enhancement products. The animal isle is ok but has good choice of high end food products, tick and flea meds, shampoos and other chemicals for cat and dogs. They have a cold storage for cat and dog foods, canned food, package foods. The meat department has a great choice of seafood and freshwater food. They have plenty of seafood in cold storage of already made dinners. The meat is good with big steaks, pork chops, chicken and all those yummy things most dont eat. The produce is always fresh and clean. Vegetables and fruits are always good and fresh with a great choice of common and exotic fruits. The apples are plentiful and good fresh berry choices. Berry choice isn't as good as the fred Meyers stores in Fairbanks Alaska where u can get fresh wild blueberries and other local wild berries but thats the great thing about living in the best state in America. There is a good selection of cards and other stationary. There are school supplies, light bulbs, locks, screws and other random hardware. The backyard cooking supplies are in good supply, charcoal, lighter fluid, starter logs and utensils used for cooking. Spice isle is plentiful and good choice, you can find most name brand names or generic brands. They seem to have a good choice for all variety of money groups. This store is clean. I find the deli and bakery to be fabulous and a lady Haley is a wonderful sight to see and pregnant and wish her well. The bakery has great treats and all my favorite foods. I've found that I can get my boarshead brand cold cuts here and some other great brands. This store is just great and have all the goods a person needs and is in a good area...

Gave it 2 stars because the store itself is decent and a lot of the employees are nice. The deducted stars are for each employee I've seen shopping on the clock in the toy section trying to reach the collectible figures, Hotwheels cars, matchbox cars, and what not before any customers can. Ive seen curbside employees, stop what they are doing, walk from dairy to the toy section, dig through the display cases, grab 2 or 3 cars, and then go back to pulling orders over in dairy. Having employees taking all the collectible cars and figures not only discourages customers from shopping there due to them never finding anything worth while, but it leaves your sales floor with a lot of unwanted product that would have been purchased (impulse buying) if they had found something they think is worth money... for example, if I purchase a figurine or car for $5 that I believe is worth $30 to $40, then I am more likely to buy other items that are not worth as much because naturally I believe I have the money to do so now. It's marketing 101. That's why toy companies like Mattel (Hotwheels), Jada, Matchbox, and M2 usually put multiple chase models or grabbers in each series, hoping that you find them and buy others along with it. Take those away, and you're left with a bunch of worthless junk you can't sell, and on top of it all, you lost the customers that search for that kind of stuff and impulse buy as they look. I had the BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE TODAY! JOHN at the fuel station was so very helpful. I was very flustered and in such a hurry. My dog was very sick at home he came out and helped me pump my gas, helped me with my credit card, pretty much everything, he was so helpful! Thank you so much John! I don't know if I would have made it back home without you! Give this guy a raise! And Rae who was working in floral. She usually works in the back. She actually got the three items that I needed for me! I handed her my phone and showed her what I needed, and then I ran and got Fuel while she got my items. I had to get 3 items for my dog because he was so sick. I met her back there in floral and she had everything ready and waiting! So sweet Rae! Thank you so much. I, of course, was having problems checking myself out because I was terribly worried about my Dog at home, that was extremely sick. I accidentally set my phone down where the bags are, and then placed my Re-Usable shopping Bag there, and the self checkout stopped because the weight was off.
