Dined here for our anniversary recently as we don’t get out to Farragut often but had heard great things. Definitely a winner. Service and food were great, pace of meal was solid, never felt rushed. Good happy hour cocktail pricing as well.
Extended review for fellow foodies (note that the food menu is apparently changing July-ish): We chose pimento cheese fritters and the duck confit croquettes for appetizers. The pimento cheese fritters were delayed due to one exploding so we had the croquettes first. The croquettes were one of the low points of the meal - the confit was executed well and I felt good about the fact that I was getting protein but the dish has no “pop” of flavor - probably wouldn’t order again. The pimento cheese fritters came out next with a red pepper jelly and they were very good. My wife commented that she was glad they came after the croquettes or it would’ve made those less enjoyable to eat because of how good the fritters were.
We then shared the southern peach salad. I am normally a wedge guy but this salad sounded so delicious (pickled peaches, blue cheese crumbles, pecan praline, roasted peppers, greens, blue vinaigrette) that I had to try it. Definitely one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Would absolutely crush it again.
Entrees: My wife had the short rib gnocchi and I went with the ribeye frites + the mushroom bordelaise and I swapped my asparagus for the brussel sprouts. Gnocchi was excellent, the short rib just fell apart in the dish. My ribeye was cooked as perfectly as possible and far and away executed better than most steaks I’ve had in Knoxville. Brussels were fabulous, nice and crispy, just how I like them. The truffle fingerling potatoes were fine, but if I were nitpicking I would have sliced them in half for a little more crispiness.
Dessert: Pretty small dessert selection. Apparently they have a few ice cream flavors, a rotating creme brûlée and a pot de crème. We opted for the strawberry and peanut butter ice-cream and it was surprisingly good. My wife and I also love pot de crème so we ordered that as well.
Drinks: happy hour old fashioneds and margaritas are solid at only $8/drink. I also tried the Dylan cocktail which was a fun experience. My wife for a second cocktail ordered the Everglades - which was delicious, like consuming an alcoholic key lime pie ice cream drink, but way too sweet to enjoy with entrees. We held it until we were finished and treated it as a dessert drink. I tried to order an espresso martini but was told they did not have real espresso. A chocolate cake drink was recommended, and honestly our server couldn’t remember what was in it but claimed it was really good so I went with that. It was the only cocktail we wouldn’t order again.
We spent $300 with tip for all...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, and it was nothing short of perfection! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal.
I started with a glass of wine that paired beautifully with the main event: the filet mignon. Cooked to absolute perfection, it was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor—a true masterpiece on a plate. Every bite melted in my mouth and left me wanting more.
As if the main course wasn’t enough, the dessert was absolutely to die for! I don’t know how they did it, but it was one of the most decadent, indulgent treats I’ve ever had. It was the perfect sweet ending to a flawless meal.
The service was impeccable, with staff who were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about creating a great experience for their guests.
If you’re looking for a restaurant where every detail is thoughtfully executed, from the wine to the filet to the dessert, this is the place to go. I can’t...
Read moreMy first Elkmont review (on Goggle) was 11 months ago and since then I have been back twice including my recent visit with their seasonal menu change which now included my favorite-Pork chop, duck breast, and more.
Happy to report that from service, to food, to taste, to portion sizes, Elkmont Station earned and proved they are worthy of a five-star rating.
The pork chop was outstanding with a brandy cream reduction that was not over powering but delightfully complimenting the pork. The crispy brussel sprouts was the best I have ever had. Finally, a chef kitchen that knows how to properly cook and present crispy brussels.
If I had to ding a bit, it was not a bone in pork chop as advertised, it was boneless but none the less perfectly cooked and presented.
My wife had the wonderful duck breast, perfectly cooked with a cherry compote that was delightful.
Still noisy so if you are looking for a romantic night out, make a reservation for a booth or go early. Other than that, Elkmont, Knoxville fires on...
