SUMMER MOON COFFEE The BEST Chai Latte in Town, Friendly & Welcoming Staff, & Excellent Service-CONSISTENTLY. I was hooked on Summer Moon the first time I went and have been pleasantly surprised that they have maintained such high levels of quality and service. I recently forgot to communicate I wanted my latte hot and when I asked them to remake it, not only were they very gracious, they refused to let me pay for the new drink. It was my fault for not telling them, yet they were courteous and polite, and remade the drink without any fuss-no eyerolls, no under-the-breath comments, no attitude. I felt so bad and kept apologizing, but they quickly made a new drink and all was well.

As far as recommendations go, here are mine. So, the drink order that was suggested to me the first time I went (and ultimately what I now order every time I go): Vanilla or Spicy Chai with 1/2 Moon Milk and 1/2 Whole Milk. When I say this is one of the smoothest, creamiest treats with just the right amount of heat to pass my lips in perhaps years, it would not be an understatement. It's like a warm hug in a cup. If it enhances my Chai Lattes like this, I can only imagine what Moon Milk does for other drinks. So, if you're asking if I would recommend Summer Moon Coffee, it would be a definite yes-as long as you include something with Moon milk...

I have a handful of favorite drinks and snacks here: the cheese danish is DELICIOUS, the seasonal autumn moon latte is the perfect spiced fall drink, the raspberry refresher is great in the summer... I probably do schoolwork here almost weekly, and the service is always quick, there are a bunch of seating options, the merch is adorable, and I love the homey vibe. I will mention that 1) most of their drinks and snacks are dessert-sweet, which might not be everyone's style, but their tea options are perfect when I don't have a sweet tooth but still need some good flavor, and 2) their stuff is pretty pricey, but it's good quality so I won't complain. Overall, one of my favorite places to hang out or get some work done. Also, their app is totally worth it; over time I scored rewards and discounts on my drinks. Saturday was my first time going to Summer Moon coffee. My sister got me a gift card there after loving it herself! :) The 1/2 moon latte was sweet, but good. I also tried their velvet blaze drip coffee with a bit of cream and enjoyed it. I love how there is a fire area, coloring and play area for kids, plenty of plug ins for technology, walls of windows to look out, great lighting on all of the artwork, it smells good, wonderful bathrooms, and I wasn't bothered in the side area sitting in a leather chair reading and journaling for hours. Lauren U was great at explaining all of the different drinks and bringing me my drip coffee when it was ready. Thanks for bringing this to Knoxville guys!
