This was my second time to shop here and if there were below 1 star rating I would give them. They are selling over priced and expired things you can see in the pictures also. Before going to store for returning expired food and one another houseware item that I bought by mistake. I had no intuition to Give them rating or writing all of this here but the old hijabi lady force me to tell you the story. So When I went back to return their expired product that old hijabi lady at the counter behaved me very rudely and unprofessionally. She said we don’t accept any kind of return all sales are final it’s our store policy. I said alright I don’t return that houseware item (roti roller 10$ and Walmart is selling better roller in 4$) but what about the food that is expired how can I eat expired food she said I can’t do anything. Then I have to argument that I don’t want to do but she was so furious at me. She looked at the food and said this is not date this is product code that was so funny I couldn’t control myself. I said okay then please show me where is food expiry date. She was speechless had no answer. However after a while she accepted return, may be because more customers were coming. Visited store today because I was told they sold the delicious Dubai chocolate. Upon entering the store we were greeted which was very pleasant. After finding the chocolate we walked around the store and came across perfume oil. I didn't see sample bottles so I asked the dark haired young lady behind the counter if they had samples. She said no that some boxes were already open. I started to open the boxes that were already open to smell the perfumes. I got to about the 3rd opened box and was rudely asked what exactly are we doing over here opening all the boxes. I respond that the boxes I opened were already opened per her respond to my original question. May I add that the shelf is directly behind her. It really changed my intial attitude about the welcoming we received entering the store. I said why would I open unopened boxes after asking for samples. Her response was you would be surprised what people do. Not sure if return customers is a priority here but we won't...

I came in at around 6pm on July 22, 2016. I am a second generation child of immigrants from Libya and Ethiopia. I came in today with my cousins to get mehndi (henna) for my cousins wedding. There was a man of middle age and an elderly woman servicing us. The man seemed to look down on us being of the black race, my cousin asked if they had black (even though it isn't natural henna, she wanted to are if they had it) the man behaved very snobby and the elderly woman who was just laughing and smiling with a white customer as we were coming in.. stood back from the counter with her arms crossed and a sour look on her face as we stood at the counter. I see this behavior often from European Meds and it is nothing but blatant racism and colorism. I will be letting my BLACK native Mediterranean family in the area know not to give our business to such a place with ignorant and racist shopkeepers.
