It is a great distillery (and we have been to a few 😉). They truly distill great liquors and some unique ones too. We can't wait to have some Bloody Mary's with the pepper vodka and make some terrimisu with the espresso rum! Thank you Shannon for letting us try everything and for educating us about your process and what makes your liquors so good. We will be back on our next visit and let us know when you distribute to New Smyrna Beach!

From the service, to the tasting, to the laid back fun atmosphere, I thoroughly enjoyed everything about my first visit to Marlin & Barrel Distillery! All the drinks sampled were so good and our bartender was so sweet and made the whole experience so fun! Couldn't decide which bottle to bring home so I ended up picking up a few including a unique spicy vodka that makes a killer bloody Mary.

Amazing spot found here.. normally I am hunting for bourbon but this distillery became my attention. Visited with my two suns and we were all very warm welcomed. Tasted a few and decided very fast for an 135 proof and espresso flavor. Also got both bottles signed by the owner. This is special for me. Cheers you guys

Marlin and Barrel is located in Amelia Island Historic District and they were in attendance at one of Yelp Jacksonville's events. Discover your spirit by attending their tastings. Shannon was our bartender and she's very knowledgeable and friendly. My alcohol tolerance is low so I came out of there buzzin like a bee!

RUM Bearing Light Rum - made from Florida blackstrap molasses Bearing Amber Rum - carries smooth caramel and wood sugars with hints of whisky. Bearing 153 - Florida's highest proof spirit in a barrel Bearing Vanilla Bean Espresso Rum - slightly sweet on the approach with an espresso finish

VODKA Venture Craft Vodka - made from Florida molasses with hints of sweetness Venture Standard Vodka - classic American grain-based vodka Venture Smoked Pepper Vodka - made from sugars of molasses. Spicy with balanced heat

CELLO Blossom Orangecello - hand zested all Florida orange liqueur Blossom Grapefruitcello - hand zested all Florida grapefruit liqueur

GIN 2nd Street Gin - well balanced flavor-rich gin that takes from old world botanicals

Our favorite was the Blossom Orangecello so we purchased that one for now. This gives me a reason...

After exploring Amelia Island Historic District, we checked out Marlin and Barrel Distillery, which has a variety of spirits - Blossom Cello, Bearing Rum, Venture Vodka, 2nd Street Gin, Shoreline Whiskey, and Shoreline Bourbon. Shannon gave us complimentary tastings. Among the Blossom Cello, my favorites were Tangcello and Lemon Limecello. Around the tasting bar were Marlin & Barrel merchandise (e.g., hats, t-shirts, canvas bags, wooden barrel wall decor, shot glasses, pint glasses, insulated water bottle, coaster, cocktail calendar, sticker, and holiday ornaments) and other unique gifts (e.g., coasters, bottle hang tags, magnets, napkins, kitchen towels, wall decor made from barrels, Amelia Toffee Pineapple Rum and Espresso Rum flavored toffees, Liber & Co. syrups, Mulling Syrup, Cocktail and Mocktail Bitters, B & D Sauce Co. hot sauce, and more). We couldn't leave without purchasing bottles of Tangcello. When I return to Amelia Island in Spring, I look forward to trying...

My husband was looking for things to do on Amelia island. He suggested a distillery which is not a usual “go-to” for us, but since we are on a sort of make shift honeymoon I said sure. So happy I did! It’s a great spot to stop and try some out of the ordinary flavors. Their “bartender” (she is not allowed to serve actual cocktails due to liquor licensing laws) served us many samples with loads of information about each one we tried. Very impressed and def foreseeable as a small restaurant distillery one day (if that’s what they consider at any point). Everything they do is natural and use only FL sugar cane. She even mentioned that if they can’t get a flavor right using real fruit (and other plants) then they squash the idea and move on, what a strong and wonderful platform to stand on and stick to! Amazing flavors and very...
