Marlin and Barrel is located in Amelia Island Historic District and they were in attendance at one of Yelp Jacksonville's events. Discover your spirit by attending their tastings. Shannon was our bartender and she's very knowledgeable and friendly. My alcohol tolerance is low so I came out of there buzzin like a bee!

Read moreAfter exploring Amelia Island Historic District, we checked out Marlin and Barrel Distillery, which has a variety of spirits - Blossom Cello, Bearing Rum, Venture Vodka, 2nd Street Gin, Shoreline Whiskey, and Shoreline Bourbon. Shannon gave us complimentary tastings. Among the Blossom Cello, my favorites were Tangcello and Lemon Limecello. Around the tasting bar were Marlin & Barrel merchandise (e.g., hats, t-shirts, canvas bags, wooden barrel wall decor, shot glasses, pint glasses, insulated water bottle, coaster, cocktail calendar, sticker, and holiday ornaments) and other unique gifts (e.g., coasters, bottle hang tags, magnets, napkins, kitchen towels, wall decor made from barrels, Amelia Toffee Pineapple Rum and Espresso Rum flavored toffees, Liber & Co. syrups, Mulling Syrup, Cocktail and Mocktail Bitters, B & D Sauce Co. hot sauce, and more). We couldn't leave without purchasing bottles of Tangcello. When I return to Amelia Island in Spring, I look forward to trying...

She even mentioned that if they can’t get a flavor right using real fruit (and other plants) then they squash the idea and move on, what a strong and wonderful platform to stand on and stick to! Amazing flavors and very...
