I really want to support local when I visit Amelia Island, but I won’t be back here. I waited 50 minutes for two bagels sandwiches, just standard off-the-menu items. Several people who ordered after me got their order before me,. I asked and there were still 3 tickets ahead of me. A couple I talked to had stopped in before an 8 hour drive for something quick, and they had been waiting 45 minutes. Their breakfast choice is going to make them get home an hour later than planned.

An employee told me they only have one cook, but it’s just bagels. These should be quickly assembled items and get people out the door. Bagel, cream cheese, some toppings. Maybe 2 minutes per item.

They told someone else around when I got there that were at a 15-20 minute wait. I thought that was long!!

They kept taking orders quicker than they were bringing them out. They also didn’t tell anyone who didn’t ask that they were at a long wait.

The owners and the shop seem cute and like a place I want to support, but they need more cooks, a smaller menu, better operations, or a number of factors fixed before I...

Terrible experience today. We were not greeted and the staff treated us with great prejudice!!! Everyone else was greeted when they came in. They also did not acknowledge us when we were standing at the counter ordering. We still ate there because we thought maybe we should give them a chance, because maybe they were frustrated with the brush rush. But, NO! It was very apparent that we were not welcome and they did not want to wait on us. We paid for our meals before we sat down (no one told us where or if we could choose a seat.) It was a horrible experience. If you are someone of color BEWARE. One of the young ladies at the counter appeared to be someone of color, but she did not even make eye contact. She seemed to be trained to be just as rude and unwelcoming as her counterpart. 1 out of 10 because the bagel...

So freaking FANTASTIC!

This place was a hidden gem! I knew I wanted a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. We had heard good reviews from the locals, so we decided to give it a try! We were not disappointed. When we came in we were warmly treated and we were the only ones there. We ordered our food and as we waited they brought us out a whole bagel! My husband had ordered his bagel without cream cheese. So in the sample he gave us one with cream cheese and one without! He told us he wanted us to try it. We did and told him it was fantastic! I asked him if it was something new he was trying because it was so good that he needed to add it to the menu.

Turns out it’s a standing regular but since we were out of town they wanted us to get to try...

Cute breakfast shop located on one of the main roads in the area. We were excited to try this location while visiting. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We ordered two "Eggel Bagels" which came with drinks. The pricing was reasonable for the portions we were given. The drink selection could have been larger, but the establishment is rather small. Regarding the food, the only thing I would have changed was the bacon to egg ratio. There was little to no bacon, but the sandwich was still tasty.

(Actually Aloha Bagel & Deli) Had two Nova bagels. One onion one everything with lox, tomato, red onion and capers. Lots of capers. Each loaded bagel was $16. A little pricey. Though they were large enough and filling enough that we could have split one. Other than being heavy on the capers they were very good. I'm a decaf coffee only drinker and they don't offer decaf. They did have 1/2 dozen bagels for $8 which I thought was a good deal.

Great bagels, an upbeat island atmosphere, kind and helpful staff, and okay prices. After hearing so much about Aloha, I had to try it out for breakfast. I ordered their Eggel Bagel with bacon on an onion bagel and it came with coffee or a can of soda (coke products). The bagel had just the right mix of bite and softness, and the eggs were done well - though maybe just slightly under seasoned.
