Quaint, hidden gem. My first impression, was because of the location, its going to be a "high end, we only serve locals kind of restaurant." So far from it! The Broken Egg Cafe has a small town, welcome home vibe. The menu has a variety of dishes that will not leave you hungry, nor will they leave you feeling guilty for your morning choice of food. I found the presentation pleasing. Psst, I saved the warm Orange marmalade for my English Muffin. Unlike other restaurants recently there was not warning notices and up-charges "due to the price of eggs" And, with that being said (and not that you dear reader need to know) their omelet did not upset my gut. 🤣 If you like grits, I encourage you give them a try. Personally, Southern style is perfect. The Sausage patty my husband had a harder time with. This was because it wasn't laiden with chemicals, msg, and unlike what he's used to, heavy with grease and over kill spice. Our service was OUTSTANDING. And as I stated the atmosphere is home. Booths are smal, a tight fit for 4. Tables are small. We had a Bistro table almost uncomfortable. Its NOT something for large families, or small children in high chairs (spacing). And unlike many restaurants the music and conversations were kept low.

I recently discover Another Broken Egg Cafe and I am so happy that I did. Breakfast is one of my favorite meals, and the food here is very authentic and fresh. I am from Chicago, and wasn't finding that really good breakfast place here in Indiana until now. The Eggs Benedict is amazing, and the potatoes that come with it are to die for. They are perfectly seasoned and have a nice little crisps to them. I have always ordered the same thing but my friends will order different items and they have always been pleased with their choices. I had an issue one time and before I could even say something the manager noticed that one of my poached eggs was overcooked and she immediately asked if she could take my plate and remake my meal (even though I had already eaten half of my Benedict and potatoes). This type of service is exceptional to me and what also makes a place joyful to return to. I definitely recommend trying if you have not already.

True to their word we did have a 45 minute wait. My dad ordered the Hash Brown Benidict, he finished the whole thing. My BF ordered their seasonal Banana French toast, this one was the best meal of the table....delicious, it was soft and flavorful. My lil one ordered French toast sampler, she finished the whole meal and she rarely eats everything. I ordered the Shrimp Benny. It came with alot of shrimps which I was surprised. Usually places always give you 3 to 5 shrimps. The shrimp was a bit salty but eat able. Their potatoes tasted more like French fries. I also ordered the hot chocolate which was not hot but warm. I had to drink it fast otherwise it would have gotten cold. Great menu items. Will try again if I came back to the area.

I have been to a handful of locations in this chain but it has been a while since my last time in. I had a positive impression from these past visits, but I think that positivity increased with our visit to this shop. Located on the main drag in lovely Fishers, IN, it is in a an area of elegant brick buildings. The visit was made easier by the fact that there was a decent amount of street parking and a couple of free parking garages.

The interior was a little smaller than I expected but yet was adequate in size. There were seven in our party including our 3-yr old grandson, but there was no problem seating us on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM. Our server attended to us quickly and did a solid job. She was not exactly bubbly and full of smiles. But she did do her job competently, and I'll take that any day.

The reason I was impressed beyond my expectations were the offerings on the menu. There were some very creative options. I chose the Mardi Gras Omelet, which was a three-egg creation with crawfish, shrimp, andouille sausage and red peppers. It was topped with tomato hollandaise. It was great. My wife chose the Skinny Omelet with asparagus, goat cheese and peppers with garlic cloves. It was also terrific. Our daughter got the Lobster Benedict and our son got the Crab Cake Benedict. Both were excellent. Our daughter-in-law got an enjoyable Gingerbread Waffle while our Grandson had the chocolate chip pancakes which he found to his liking. Overall, the food was outstanding and featured things not available just anywhere.

The prices were generally commensurate with what I would expect for a place like this in a location of this kind. What did surprise me was the price of the coffee at $3.99 per person. That was excessive for coffee that I considered just adequate. At that price I expect something special. But otherwise, the total price including food, drinks, tax and tip was $146 for six adults and a child. At about $21 person, it was reasonable for me considering what they delivered.

In general, we were very happy with our experience on this visit. The food was great, the service was efficient and the prices were fair, or at least reasonable. I rate chains differently than one-of's because the uniqueness factor is not usually there. But I consider this one of the better chains I've visited because there are indeed some...

Listen, if you’re ever at Another Broken Egg Cafe and you’re lucky enough to get Sophie as your server, do yourself a favor and order everything—because she’s not just a server, she’s a breakfast magician.

From the moment Sophie greeted us with a smile so bright it could blind you (in the best way), we knew we were in for an experience. Forget the food for a second—this girl could sell ice to an Eskimo... if the Eskimo was craving the world’s best eggs and crispy bacon. Sophie didn’t just take our order, she transformed it into an event. I’m pretty sure my pancakes got a standing ovation before they even hit the table.

And let’s talk about timing. Sophie was like a breakfast ninja—appearing just when we needed her and never interrupting when we were engaged in deep philosophical debates over whether to add whipped cream to our waffles (answer: YES, always YES). She got my coffee refills with the precision of a barista trained in the ancient arts of java Jedi-ism.

At one point, she asked if I needed anything else, and I wanted to tell her that she already delivered the perfect dining experience, but I was too busy trying to remember if I’d ever met someone so dedicated to making sure my eggs Benedict was, in fact, Benedict-ing my life.

So, long story short, Sophie is the real deal. If you’re looking for a great meal, fast service, and someone who will make you feel like royalty (without charging you like you’re royalty), ask for Sophie. She’s not just a server—she’s a legend in an apron.

10/10 would recommend. And next time, I’ll make sure to leave her a tip that’s as big as the smile...

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Another Broken Egg and it was an exceptional experience, from the state to the finish. We were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that complimented the delicious food to follow.

The menu offers a fantastic variety of breakfast items from classic to unique creations as well as delicious speciality drinks. I opted for the Belgium Waffles with fresh strawberries and whipped cream,, apple chicken maple sausage, and scramble eggs with spinach, and it did not disappoint! The Belgium waffle was fluffy and my eggs were cooked to perfection and the maple chicken sausage was delicious!

My husband order the Crab Cake Benedict, side of fruit and a Lemon Blueberry Mimosas. This was one of the speciality items and he said it was mouth watering and delicious!! The side of fruit was a pleasant surprise with a mixture of blackberries, mango, strawberries and pineapples. A nice change from the standard of cantaloupe and melon which I don’t like.

It was a a beautiful day so we sat outside, a they have indoor and outdoor seating. The service was impeccable, from the moment we walked in to the time we left. Our server, Te’a was friendly, attentive, and her smile was infectious. Te’a made sure our coffee cup and water glasses were never empty and that our meals were perfect.

Another Broken Egg is a must visit for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic breakfast experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is sure to leave you satisfied and eager to return. Highly...
