Very Disappointed. What we experienced vs. the promo videos... I would not return. In all fairness...we all agreed to be patient since it is a new restaurant and sometimes you have to give grace.
SERVICE... We were seated quickly then everyone scattered. We were close to leaving and eating elsewhere. A nice gentleman eventually came over to tell us our waitress would be with us. (He honestly could've got our drink order while we waited) Once everyone noticed our slight confusion as to why we weren't being served, he came back and finally took our order.
Disappointed that he did not bring our bread and salad before our dinner. (Please don't let your patrons sit there confused and hungry in the future) AT NO POINT DID THE OWNER COME AND SAY HELLO. Usually a new owner introduces themselves and expresses their gratitude for your presence and excitement about being open.
FOOD .... Salad came after dinner came out. $3.50 for a can of pop and no glasses, just plastic cups (You can't charge $44 for salmon and $90 for family meal and serve me a plastic cup and canned pop. No!)
The rice, I would humbly recommend either adding a pinch more of seasoning or just simply serve the rice you get from traditional Indian Restaurants..it's sooo good. The bread shouldn't even be on the menu, Garlic Naan would've been more impressive. The meat was cool, I enjoyed the chicken the most.
What Upset Us The Most???? YOU WAIT UNTIL I GET THE BILL TO SEE YOU CHARGE 25% GRATUITY
$1.50 for WATER!!! WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND A CREDIT CARD FEE?? At this point, I'm in prayer and just pay and must leave.
I've never felt so taken advantage of as a patron. The promo video was the highlight of our experience. $188 and I just don't feel good about it... I will never return. Owner please take classes on Guest Services and train your team on the flow of serving.
Waiter and waitress were both polite...but the Owner...smh
I never want to leave a review like this...but, I don't think the Owner cared that much about us nor our money. I feel like we're some money back for...
Read moreWent to this new Mediterranean place on a weeknight with high expectations, but unfortunately the experience was below average. The food gave mixed vibes — my lamb was decent, but my wife’s shish tawook was under-seasoned. The service, in my opinion, needs significant improvement or even proper training. Our drinks arrived after we had already finished our appetizer, something many other reviewers have mentioned. The baba ganoush was served without bread and sat untouched while we finished our chicken wings; we eventually had to ask for bread, which only came out with our entrées, meaning we still hadn’t tried the baba ganoush until halfway through the meal. The billing was also questionable: an 18% gratuity was added for just the two of us without it being stated on the menu or mentioned by the server — while I usually tip 25–30%, it’s about transparency, not the amount. My wife and I are accustomed to such practice when it comes to a party of 4-6+ or going to a michelin star restaurant but definitely not in this location with such below-average service. Charging over $40/lb for lamb was fine by me, but tacking on an additional $17.99/lb “smoking fee” felt unnecessary when the dish was already priced at a premium. We were also charged for four bottles of water despite ordering only one (they refunded the extra three in cash, which I gave to the server as an extra tip). To top it off, there was a 3% credit card fee, something I haven’t seen in a restaurant bill for a long time nor did I see it stated anywhere. Between the lackluster service, surprise charges, and questionable billing practices, this will likely remain a one-time...
Read moreIf I could give it 0 stars I would. I was super excited after looking at the reviews and looking at their Instagram (which was false advertisement), but boy was I WRONG. I took my husband here for his birthday and it was an absolute disaster. We started ordering our food around 2:30 at which the owner told us if we wanted smoked meats it would take an extra 10-15 minutes. We left at 4:45 with 3 people in our party not getting any of their entrees. We had 2 orders of short rib and they told us while we were asking for our checks, that they “ran out of short rib.” So when were they going to tell us that?! Who knows! Last thing we knew was that it would be 10-15 minutes delay in any smoked meats. They also had the nerve to put an18% gratuity check on our bills, which should have been taken off due to the horrible service. We had to go, so we paid it and I didn’t feel like arguing about our bill. We had to remind the waiter of everyone’s house salad. The “smoked” brisket did not taste smoked at all. The brisket and rice lacked seasoning. The rice was very mushy. I will not be returning and I tell anyone and everyone I know to not come here. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this food. The communication was absolutely horrible. The food is not worth it at all.
UPDATE: Since I can’t reply to Kanoon’s response. We were a party of 9. I tried to make a reservation days ahead but they said they do not take reservations on the weekends. When we walked in there were only two other tables. As more people came in it started to become busy and they seemed to service their ethnicity first even though we were there...
