I really enjoyed using the private road test for my oldest son. Unfortunately the staff refused to honor the power of attorney I have from my ex husband for my youngest son. They used the same power of attorney for my other son’s license. It is very concerning that they arbitrarily do not honor legal documents depending on who is working. Power of attorneys exist for these scenarios yet this company thinks they are above the law. I showed them proof they took the legal documents last time. They were unfriendly and just seemed lazy. Anything to get out of taking my son for the driving test. Imagine being so incompetent the dmv workers are helpful in comparison. Good grief. Edit: adot was very nice and had zero issue with power of attorney. The cost was less than a 1/4 of footework and mess drama. Was in and out of adot in 30 min.

Footworke’s response is silly. The power of attorney said it covers any and all issues. Power of attorneys exist because folks can be incapacitated and others can take care of legal issues for them. You accepted it before. Adopt accepted twice. Your reasoning is well it depends on the person working and that is unacceptable. People need to know you may or may not provide services based on feelings and moods not facts or polices. You wasted my time and disappointed my son. Other customers need to know how sloppy this operation can be. Again folks, adot was less time and so much less money. The government workers were friendlier and more helpful than anyone...

I went into the Flagstaff branch today because I was selling a truck, and I was turned away from another 3rd party company because of my disorganized record keeping. We were getting my son his first driver's permit. We had a 1045am appointment on a Saturday. 1110 rolled around and we were still waiting.
