This place was great! It's usually difficult to accommodate a large group (more on that later), but Tacos Los Altos sat us with no problem. We received speedy service, good-sized food portions for a reasonable price, and tasty!
Storytime: Our party of 16 had called ahead to Over Easy to give them a heads-up that we would be going in for breakfast around 11 am. They told us over the phone that the wait would be about 40 minutes once we arrived there. That's okay; we're a large group, and we understood. We arrive and are told an hour and 15-minute wait, at most. Still, we understand. After half an hour, we sent a friend to check the estimated time for our tables, and the hostess gave him an attitude and said it would be another hour. Now, we're confused. We were told an hour, tops. So, another friend went to confirm, and we got the same story: attitude from the hostess and said that the two guys we sent in were the same person and they were not.
Finally, we were unsatisfied with the way the Over Easy lady handled our situation and took our party off the list. Across the way, we see Tacos Los Altos, and our morning was saved! The cashier was so nice! The food came out quickly (a few minutes after placing our order), and the server on the floor was attentive to every (not just our group).
TLDR: Over Easy is over-rated; come...
Read moreOh, I hate giving negative reviews, but this place continues to disappoint after multiple visits. Here's my experience (and it's evident that others have had much better luck than me): The breakfast burritos are underwhelming at best and almost always served with a huge side of attitude from the pony-tailed manager who insists on up-charging like crazy for any modification because "the system doesn't work like that, so we charge you." In response to a request like, "would it be okay to get beans in the burrito instead of potatoes and cheese?" I once asked to pay the upcharge and add shrimp in my breakfast burrito (because that's fine - shrimp is more expensive than beef or chicken.) They said that's impossible. I asked if I could order a breakfast burrito, then a side of shrimp. They said "yes." I said, can you just put that in the burrito for me, please? "No." So my burrito came out, along with a paper plate with some shrimp on it. I unfolded the burrito and dumped the shrimp in there. Mmm-mmm-annoying. Bottom line: I love to support small businesses like this. They make it REALLY hard to with apathetic and...

🌮 When it comes to food options, they’ve got plenty to choose from, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences.
🎨 The indoor decor is a beautiful representation of culture, adding an authentic ambiance to the meal.
🌯 On to the food - the breakfast burrito with sausage, beans, eggs, and potatoes was tasty, but a tad heavy on the potatoes compared to the other ingredients.
🍲 The beef soup, however, was a standout dish. The broth had a unique, delicious flavor, and the generous portions of beef, corn, carrots, zucchini, and green beans made it a hearty and satisfying meal.
🚻 A small note on the restroom: while it’s maintained for daily use, it could benefit from a thorough deep clean. Enhancing the upkeep of the restroom would perfectly complement the restaurant’s wonderful dining room atmosphere.
Tacos Los Altos offers a great dining experience with its excellent service, diverse menu, and charming decor. A little attention to the restroom area would make it all the more...
