Decent PHO joint. Their prices are very expensive based on their portions. Would have ordered egg rolls and spring rolls because I like to see how restaurants create and make them taste but pricey. The noodle soups began at $13.99 and above. It appears that if there's an extra meat or two e.g. beef & meatballs, it went $1-$2. Their special was, if I remember correctly, $18. They do not give proportionate noodle/ broth ratio. The noodle portion was small but they give alot of broth in a big bowl so it seemed worth it. When you begin to eat it, you'll see what I mean. However they do give plenty of the toppings/meats. Extra garnishes of bean sprouts, jalapeño slices and lime provided on individual plates per person which I liked; rather than one tray of garnish for the whole table (typically). However, no basil or raw chili peppers or Kapik in the table. They also provide a carafe of water with small glass cups- very nice because I dislike waiting for refills. Orders: 1. P4 Rare Beef Slices $13.99- Saltier than average but very well made broth. Plenty rare beef slices and garnishes. Fish sauce recommended. 2. Chicken Egg Noodle Soup $13.99: Refreshing but bland and not as rich. Had to add a dash of salt, black pepper, 1 spoon soy sauce & 1/2 spoon hoisin, and 2 heaping spoons of fish sauce. There wasn't enough fried garlic/ shallots and onions, nor noodles! I'm from MN and the majority of their noodle soups range from $7-$12 on average depending on location. In comparison, the portion of noodle/ broth ratio is definitely better price wise. 18% gratuity for parties 6 or more.

Where to begin.... 1) Ordered spring rolls, waiter came back to inform us they didn't have anymore. (Not a big deal) 2. I requested fried tofu in my pho, gave me soft tofu. (Waiter took plate back & brought it back said they could not take it out but would bring me a side of fried tofu. Again not a big deal) 3. Asked for Basil a common and basic garnish for pho. They didn't have any. (WTH) 4. Was given 1/4 of a lime for pho, I asked for more. Waiter forgot to bring it. 5. The fried rice was plain. 6. Requested the check- the spring rolls had not been removed. Eventually they removed it. 7. Receipt comes back and a random NON-CASH fee of $2.49 (Never have I been changed a non cash fee without prior knowledge or mention. I realize it's a small fee but I feel the establishment should mention this to guests before the charge is made) I did confirm there's no mention of this fee on the menu, on the front door or a sign. It's simply SHADY ! Needless to say we will Not be coming back.

Dine in area is 10 feet by 20 feet. The water given was tap water, not filtered. Spring roll order comes with 2 rolls for 7.99. Both are cut in half. 1 shrimp in each half. Peanut sauce is a light brown. Noodles in the spring rolls were scarce. The atmosphere: its quiet enough to hear every conversation around me. Soda was limited and they had no smoothies. Coconut shrimp was unavailable as well. I ordered the Pho with Rare Steak for 14.99. The amount of noodles was satisfying. I usually don't finish my meat on the regular, but my bowl had 12 pieces.  It was an OK amount. The broth wasn't oily but it had a peculiar taste. It didn't taste bad but it wasn't my favorite. Onions in the Pho were thick, strong, and a little undercooked. The 2 out of the 3 slices of jalapeños I was given were as spicy as bell peppers. I never got a water refill either. I'll probably choose somewhere else to eat for $26 next time, especially with these prices for this quality.

We came to Flagstaff, AZ to drop off my nephew for his freshman year at NAU and made a mistake of eating here on our way back to Albuquerque, NM. FYI, I did read the reviews prior to eating at this place, however, my nephew wanted to eat Vietnamese, so we had no choice but to give in. I should've informed my nephew and his family about the reviews I read about this place but didn't because this is what my nephew wanted. Prior to paying our bill, a customer from Colorado complained to the owner/manager regarding his family's bill. He complained about how the bill was not clear as to what he was paying for. All he wanted was clarification and was met with a defensive and rude old lady owner. It was then our turn to pay the bill. First off, prior to seating(family of 10), the busser was cleaning a booth table and advised that it would take 40 mins to seat us. I thought to myself, "shouldn't you have dropped cleaning the booth to accommodate the party that is waiting?" Ok, then whatever. Got seated. The food was okay. My daughter and I got the rare steak and meatballs for $8.99 and the hubby got the combination that was for $11.99. My daughter asked for a smoothie and the waitress said "Sorry, no smoothies today." I had my pho bowl with only two pieces of meat, 4 meatballs and a whole lot of noodles. My brother in law got the special for $11.99 and got the tripe, tendons, AND NO MEAT! He complained and was complimented. By the time we got to the front to pay the bill, we were met with 4% charge to pay with credit/debit card and 18% to pay gratuity! An argument ensued. My sister stated had we known that 4% is to be charged for use of credit/debit card (sign or notice not posted on the door but was pointed out upon paying at the register) we would've been prepared to pay in cash instead or not eat there at all. The gratuity of 18% was not put into our attention either upon seating. The owner stated that they serve 100 customers a day and never had a complaint and went on to state that we are the 1% that complained and does not care. I then pointed out the bad reviews they have gotten and she seem to not have a care in the world. She then put the blame on us because we did not ask. How is it our fault to not know what to ask? We are from Albuquerque, NM and do not know the company policy or taxes. Shouldn't we have been informed prior to seating? I have eaten in restaurants where we have been informed prior to seating of the additional charges. JUST AN FYI, PLEASE HEED THIS WARNING: 4% WILL BE CHARGED FOR USING CREDIT/DEBIT CARD AND 18% GRATUITY WILL BE ADDED FOR A PARTY OF FIVE OR MORE....THESE CHARGES ARE NOT DISCLOSED BEFOREHAND UNTIL PAYMENT. If I had a choice, no star at all! The one star is for the complimentary food that my brother in law got. Customer Service and food is 0 stars. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! Also, upon reading a review by a regular customer, I AM BAFFLED AT THE FACT THAT THIS PLACE GOT A 2 STAR FROM A REGULAR CUSTOMER! A REGULAR THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW BY NAME? EMBARRASSING!!!! I ALSO DO AGREE WITH SOME REVIEWS THAT THIS RESTAURANT DOES NOT CATER TO BIG GROUPS OF PEOPLE THOUGH THAT IS WHERE THE MONEY IS AT. NOT A PLACE FOR TOURISTS AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COST. THE FACT THAT THIS BUSINESS GOT A 2 STAR RATING FROM THEIR REGULARS AND NOT KNOW THEM BY NAME AND FACE IS A BIG...

I’ve eaten here several times. Their food was always good so I recently went back. It was a bizarre experience to say the least. I walked in with my wife and 1 yo and had to use the restroom. When I got back, my wife was kind of miffed. The waitress was really rude, and pointed to a table for my wife to sit at. She had her hands full with a baby and diaper bag because dad was using the restroom, and the waitress did not even offer to get a high chair. When I got back, we were ready to order. The girl was very anti-social with zero customer service and asked if we were ready to order. I attempted to put in an appetizer order for spring rolls, and very rudely she said we can’t do that, and “she has to take everything all at once!”? Huh? Why call them appetizers or not have a counter to order at and serve yourself? So that was strike two to say the least. I was irritated but whatever, I’ll take my business elsewhere. I’m a very successful business owner, and I do not tolerate any employee torpedoing the business or brand I worked so hard to establish. I would immediately want to know about an instance like this to protect my hard work. When I attempted to talk to the owner, the girl ran interference, made an excuse, and refused to even let the owner know I wanted to speak with her. First she told me I would have to wait for a long time because they were busy, so I waited about fifteen minutes. Then I asked her if she even notified the owner and she hadn’t. Then I stuck my head in the order window and politely asked the owner if I could speak to her. Then they looked at me weird and told me to wait also. I did for another ten minutes and left. I wanted to give them an opportunity to know how this girl was railroading their business. If your going to task an individual to run the front of your house, try not hiring someone who has zero people skills. Let her wash dishes or clean and find someone who will make the customer enjoy their experience. I can’t even speak to the food this time because we did not get that far, although every other time it was good and the lady who owned it was very nice.

Good help is hard to find, but keep looking because you lost a loyal customer. I’ve done several business lunches there and always support local small businesses, I want to see them succeed. This isn’t about spite or being a Kyle, rather being able to correct an issue because Flagstaff needs a bomb Pho...

I ate here over the weekend and I got food poisoning. And that was just a small portion of the horrible experience i had there. Here is it in point form: When we walked in the waitress didn’t even greet us despite not being allowed to seat ourselves. Then after 10 minutes of waiting we finally were allowed to sit. Then the waitress never asked us if we wanted anything to drink. Not once. We got water after we got our food The owners wife stormed out of the kitchen and was muttering loud enough that everyone could hear “all these people better wait a long time because we only have one cook”. Then proceeded to mutter and awkwardly walk around everyone Menus had a sticky note saying “due to grocery costs prices will be higher by a dollar”. When we got our bill they were much higher! 3 bowls of pho and a appetizer was 74$. Yeah A mom we did not know was asked twice by the waitress if her and her kids were finished. Basically asking them to leave. Her kids were being good and they were all polite. It was so awkward! The mom asked if she did anything wrong and the waitess just glared and said “I asked you twice if you were finished”. I won’t make assumption here as to what went on but the only thing I can think of is racism. The food was awful and nothing was available. We were not allowed to order anything but pho. Seriously. We tried and they were like “no we have one cook. You can have this”. I’m not kidding. It went down exactly like this. The meat in our pho we ordered was cold/cool despite broth being hot. The Meat seemed cooked through though (I was wrong). I got food poisoning after eating here. I was up all night. While reading this you can try and see both sides of this review but I want to stress that I did not I eat anything else or have the flu and I was healthy going in! I Did not eat anything else after.

Overall this place should be shutdown. I never write reviews but I felt I needed too. Please avoid this place. Especially if you have a family like I do. I’m just happy the kids barely ate anything or they would have...
