And since I was almost black out drunk I yelled “I don’t like magic at all! Never have and never will! Magic is just religion for people who like hot rods and Jeff Foxworthy as a game show host!”
I jumped up from my table ready to fight this guy for trying to bring a magic show into my 30th Anniversary of My Divorce Party, spilling my food all over my junk.
Well it turns out he was the owner and this was a magic show in memory of his wife who started her own magician alliance before she went to The Great “Watch me pull a rabbit out of this hat” in the Sky. She had been impaled on a fishing spear.
I quickly apologized and let the man continue through his tears.
He was terrible. No magic in his magic whatsoever. An embarrassment to all living magicians. Only his wife could’ve loved this. May she have been floating above us like a grocery bag in the wind.

The gentleman that brought my food out explained it and said they were going to comp my dish, which I thought was amazing customer service and more than I would have asked for. I got my bill and they didn’t comp it, or discount it. Asked the other guy at the bar that gave me my bill and he said he didn’t know and just moved onto the next customer. As a business owner I really appreciate stellar customer service, which I thought I was getting but didn’t.
