Northern Lights Crystals, Books & Gifts — Attraction in Fort Collins

Staff is AWFUL. I've made the mistake of coming twice to this place and everytime I have sorely regretted it. The first time I was looking for an herb my local apothecary had ran out of, I walked up and greeted the staff who seemed like they would rather die than share air with me and asked where they kept the herbs and they sulked, scoffed and pointed to where some were. So I head back basket in hand to look and not only did they not have it but the entire time they kept following me around like I was a shoplifter. The second time all I needed was a candle the correct size for my candle burner and i like a particular brand of candles with intentions cast over them since this is my closest metaphysical store i hoped maybe just maybe it'd be better experience it had been a while and maybe they hired new people. Same treatment only this time the lady behind the counter asked if I could afford it. I wouldn't be in your store to PURCHASE your item if I couldn't sweetie. I honestly reccomend to steer very clear of this horrid store and their snarky...

If you’re looking for items made with honor and ethical values to the cultures and indigenous peoples they originate from this is not the place. No signage about where their cleansing products come from, and the dream catchers even have the legal disclaimer they are not “Indian products.” If your products have to have that disclaimer consider sourcing from the tribe directly… incense with warbonnets on them called “shaman visions” made over seas are not how you support indigenous North American people. Someone recommended this place to me for ethically sourced items but that was unfortunately not the case. Everyone else was greeted but I was never spoken to while I looked around for 30 minutes looking for information on ethics until I left & I was thanked for coming in. The person working seemed nice and friendly. The place was clean, well organized, welcoming, all that good stuff. The sourcing is just wildly disappointing.
