The parking options are very poor for the venue. Unclear/vague signs. Very limited city/public parking. There is very limited parking for multiple businesses/facilities. The parking garage has mixed reviews with some people stating there is a 6hour minimum; there are no signs posting the rates/hour visible from the street. There are parking lots with “contract” parking. The fees are not visible from the road. It seems the only way to know the fees is to park and go to the meter. However, you have a limited time to enter or leave the parking lot; if you dont leave within the allotted time(if you decide to park elsewhere) you will be mailed a fine of over$100.
There are venues which have thousands of customers for an event and even with having this many customers, the parking is easier. I dont mind paying for parking but this design is terrible. And,yes, there are some venues with approximately 20,000 people attending an event and they actually dont charge to park.
This is my second time at this venue and the first time was no different.
The venue does offer valet but I have no idea what the cost is; the line can get long for this.
Leave at least 45 minutes -1 hour to just find parking.
You may be able to obtain parking on Himnarshee St by the railroad- there is city parking there.
The venue itself is really nice and well maintained. The staff is polite and professional. There is typically merchandise and areas to purchase food and drinks on each level.
Large screens would make for a better experience for customers.
So if you can overlook the parking, it is a...
Read moreThis is the second time I come here. They have a really cute booth to take pics [get there early so you don't have to wait such a long time] and amazing stairs for some gorgeous pics [come early or stay late to get uninterrupted pics]. The staff is very helpful, polite, and so sweet. I simply love it here. The plays are absolutely stunning (so far I've seen "The King and I" and "Anastasia"). We personally love to dress up and have a drink and snacks before the show. Those will always be on the pricier side per usual (water $4/ chocolate pretzels $5). That's normal anywhere, like the movies or the fair. Definitely not a deal breaker tho! The coconut rum with orange juice ($12) was definitely worth it. Yum! Let's talk about parking. I paid $15 for the garage. They take card (visa/MC/NO Samsung or Apple pay) but I do have to say this..... I paid to get in and when I reached the top I was afraid there were no spaces left. Like, I truly believe they were taking money without a guarantee of a spot. I didn't like that. Btw, the garage has a closed walkway to the theater! Keeps you from having to cross streets and smell like sun. Also helpful on a rainy day! I love the memories I'm making here and hope you make beautiful...
Read moreOh boy what a joke this was. I would have gladly paid whatever the vip valet price was if I could even get into the dam lane to line up to get it parked. 2. The supposed large garage, was packed to the gills. Literally not one spot to be had. Never again willi see an event at this so poorly constructed place whose design engineers must have been high when figuring this place out. 3. The staff is entirely made of 100yr old retirees who really can't hear you when u speak or even k ow where the F any seat is without pulling out their seating charts WTH. To top it off. There was an accident that literally closed off Broward Blvd just past the exit ramp for 95, so literally there were quite a bit of us who were late, and I'm saying like 25% of audience showed up 25min late. You think that they would have been altered or figured it out by an employee and just delayed the show for an additional 10 to 15min. Would not have caused any additional issues , I asked when the next show was. So for $400 in tickets (only 2 of em folks) this whole experience was a joke. It completely took away from what a beautiful place this is to see a show. Unfortunately I...
