Recent change in management has shown nice improvements to service and price consistency. I used to shop there frequently, going back many years when it was just 1 building but several years ago gave up. Let's face it, most of us go there for bargains. The fact that the proceeds go to a great cause are a perk but not the main draw for most. For a while the pricing was pretty high for a thrift type store but I've seen it come back to reality now. They aren't giving stuff away, hit garage sales for that. But the deals are good again. I overheard some say "$1400 bucks for used cabinets, seriously!?" So I looked of course.. having remodeled a few kitchens myself and knowing 1 set of pot and pan drawers can set you back 500 bucks easy, this set was a great deal. Over a dozen pieces of high end, reputable brand custom ordered pieces that my guess was close to or over 10k easy and great condition. I would have snatched it up if I had the $ that day! On the higher end stuff you may get a little sticker shock, but do your research on brand pricing, then you'll see. Only issue I have is them being closed on Sunday, a big...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreZERO STAR'S ---- Customer service is horrible. Employees act like criminals doing community service. Seems like they hate their job's and get agitated if you ask them questions. Managements attitude's are even worse than their staff. They sell some new, damaged and used junk at retail prices all of which they obtained for free. Really? I have visited this store (Broward Boulevard) several times over the years and they are consistently bad across the board. I only continue to visit in hopes to find hurricane panel's I need. With so many bad Google review's It's a wounder they can keep the doors open. I hope at some point the owners will reads these reviews and make drastic changes. The restore's have potential for being good for everyone and sad to say it looks like nothing will change. I am looking forward to finishing the hurricane panel's and not going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love this store and they have great selection. Employees are helpful. My issue is that there is clearly different ppl pricing the items. Some items are outrageously expensive whether they are new or not. They get their furniture from City Furniture and Ive seen the exact furniture in the City Furniture clearing warehouse brandnew for a fraction of the price that Habitat Has it listed for. A Large USED sleeper sofa...$900!! I can get something brand new and in better quality for a fraction of that price. My request from management is...please whomever is pricing these items so high...please educate them on proper pricing. A stained used sofa should not be $400... Even the new sofas should not be $700. The person putting those prices clearly does not know abt pricing. I use to go here frequently but w these prices I rather go to a new...
