Just left very disappointed from the customer service from the moment we walked in. Went to do the escape room “Cursed City” and the man at the desk was very rude when checking in about the waiver. Whatever fine no big deal. The biggest deal was as we were in the room who ever was our host (we didn’t get their name) was very unhelpful. We were missing a puzzle piece and we kept asking where it was. It wasn’t in the from the start and we wasted 10 minutes when they had it the whole time!!! I kept repeating while we were in the second room which piece we were missing and what piece it was. They kept insisting we missed in the first room however the man knocked on the door and gave us the puzzle piece! That wasted so much time and at the end we were in the last room and didn’t give us any extra time even though they made the mistake. Every time after that we had to ask her something she would take a while to respond and she wouldn’t let me finish speaking when I was asking a question she would cut me off. By cutting me off she was wasting more time because she wasn’t answering my actual question. Another comment about this escape room in general, we couldn’t solve the and of the puzzles on a divide and conquer style. They had to be done sequential so when you have a big group, it could be very difficult to get done. Also, because we didn’t finish the room they made us crawl back through the hole and wouldn’t open the door for us to leave even though someone in our party had a knee issue. We’ve done many escape rooms and overall, I was very disappointed in the experience that we paid almost 200$ for. We will not be returning to do the other escape rooms at this facility. There are nicer ones that have helpful attendants...

Location On the Main Street through a narrow door between two bar/club establishments on the 2nd floor (stairs only)

We all enjoyed ourselves, plenty of axe throwing games to choose from including zombies, battleship, connect four, ducks. Tic-tac-toe and more (do a practice round then play for points) The host was friendly and checked on us a few times and retrieved a few axes that went behind the wall. He also informed us of escape rooms which we may have to try in the future especially outsmarting Voldemort. Everyone was happy, in a good mood, inner Viking came out in us all, and inspired us to throw axes in a Forrest at some trees and howl at the moonlight (those plans are being coordinated lol)
Cons or suggestions for improvements
-Parking (best option is street or side street parking) -Seating were hard wood stools (killed our backs) -Music was fantastic however coming from room next door on low volume and not room we were in -The ac was on but not cool enough I asked to make it cooler as everyone said they were a bit hot but it was locked up on wall...
Read moreI struggled to choose the appropriate rating because it was a cool escape room. We did the Mayan Curse. However, it was extremely difficult and mostly based on pictures and graphics that all blended together at some point. Maybe a few more written clues would help facilitate the process a bit more for those like me who need words to help solve the hard picture/symbol tasks. Truly, all the different hieroglyphic-like symbols everywhere seemed the same after being in the room for a while. We didn't know where to look or what was relevant. Come to find out that only 2% make it out of the room we were in (which was the first of TWO rooms for the Mayan Curse), so thankfully the ego blow wasn't too bad. But, that just seems like such a sad statistic. Don't get me wrong, everyone in my party enjoys challenges and has vast experience with escape rooms, but even us well-educated adults were stumped. Granted there were only 3 of us, it still was quite hard. Though we were close to getting in the second room (only one puzzle away 😒). I think it could be a little easier because no one likes to spend $35 to feel dumb for an hour. The staff is super friendly and helpful, so we were overall pleased with...
