We stayed in this hotel for the whole week price was over 2k , I was very disappointed in service and the rooms . When we got here we got room with balcony that didn’t work so after 2 days they moved us to different room . I asked for housekeeping service every day as I like my room clean and also I’m paying for. Everyday I had to call front desk for coffee and cream , towels , even toilet paper as no one was checking our room . I complained few times they always said someone will be there shortly but I had service through the whole week only twice . No one change sheets in one week - Unacceptable, as hotel is by beach you’d want someone to vacuum and clean your room. At the check out she said oh I’m sorry u have to request service - I said I did first thing I arrived and I still have to call every day for someone to bring essentials stuff . They will blame covid for not cleaning the rooms but meanwhile pool is packed with dj - cuz that’s where they making money ! Very disappointed if you have other options go somewhere else . Only good...
Read moreWe’ve been at Bahia Mar for the past year and it’s one of the best marina experiences we’ve had. Everyone on the team is awesome and everything is managed well and runs super smooth. With just a call you can schedule your pump-out (only $10!) or have someone there to help with your lines. We’ve never had any hiccups and have enjoyed having access to the hotel amenities along with dedicated parking. Location can’t be beat for getting out on the water quickly, no rivers to navigate and when docked we’re able to walk to all of the cool stuff on the beach. One thing you’ll want to do is learn the drawbridge schedule, that’s the only thing that can sometimes be frustrating but once you know the schedule you’ll be good to go. The docks are gated and floating so we never have to worry about security or lines and fenders needing adjusting which we love. I recommend Bahia Mar to anyone asking about a slip in Fort Lauderdale, we’ve been nothing...
Read moreSpent ten days in Florida for spring break with the kids on our cabin cruiser. Most of that time we stayed at Bahia Mar. Its a big marina set up for serious yachts. All of the staff were helpful and we felt very welcome in our 25’ boat. We enjoyed using the hotel pool and other hotel amenities. By no means is this a frugal sailor’s marina. There are certainly cheaper places to dock in Ft Lauderdale. We paid $170 a night. You can’t beat this location. To enjoy the same amenities but stay at the hotel that week it was $900-1200 a night. I think the price was fair. The only draw back was the shower house. It felt more like the hotel employee bathroom. It definitely needed some more attention from housekeeping than it received while we were there. We had a great time here and...
