I've been to this spa several times since 2014 and up until today it was always a lovely experience. Well that changed today with my introduction to Michael one of the owners. Myself and my husband had booked several treatments for our spa day. We arrived and even though we were on time the young lady who greeted us made a big deal over us not being early. She never went over what was booked for us. This turned out to be a major mistake. This is a common practice at most spa's to ensure no misunderstanding take place. We were just rushed into the salt room for our first treatment. We had been given a locker for our belongings and a robe on previous visits also but that didn't happen today. Michael never checked my previous visits he just said it never happened. I know what my experience was here and yes I was in a robe and didn't carry around my purse. I had to drag my belongings from room to room. This was very disappointing to say the least and not relaxing. I in fact have never been to a spa where I wasn't given a locker for my belongings and a robe. Its just standard for the spa's I've visited. I'd never come back to a spa that that didn't provide this. I travel for a living and frequent spa's often. I've been to spa's in Asia, Europe and all throughout the US. I come here because its close to my home. I otherwise go to the Heavenly Spa at the Westin. If I'm in Miami The Fontainebleau Miami Beach is my choice. So I know about spa's. I've also been in customer service over 30 years and the owner Michael is horrible at customer service. It was a small misunderstanding about what services were booked for us. It was a small problem that would have been caught if the young lady who greeted us had went over our spa day upon arrival but she didn't. Michael for whatever reason decided he wanted to fight about this with us. He was argumentative and confrontational towards us. He completely over stepped while talking to me. The verbal attack was so bad that we decided to leave instead of be treated badly. He kept saying he taped me like he was the FBI. I just kept thinking this man is really out of sorts because this isn't a big deal but he's making it out to be. I never said I wouldn't pay for anything and I still can't believe he was so disrespectful. I only said I didn't recall booking one of the treatments that was on my booking. It was the worst spa experience I've ever had. I will NEVER set foot in Lifestream Spa again. They have no idea how to provide a true spa experience. The first thing you must have is an ounce of customer service which they do not. I have no reason to lie about...

The couple who run this incredible spa truly set the standard for what service should be in the US. They are always on time, and their attention to detail is impeccable, making sure every guest feels special and pampered.
One of the first things I noticed was the wide selection of fun slippers to choose from – it's such a delightful touch! And let's not forget the complimentary adult beverage that comes with your service. It's those little extras that make the experience so unique and memorable.
The spa itself is stunning. There's a large relaxation room where you can unwind before and after your treatments, two pristine restrooms, a state-of-the-art spa, and a therapeutic salt room that I absolutely love. Every corner of Lifestream Spa exudes tranquility and luxury.

Read moreI’ve been going to Lifestream Spa in Fort Lauderdale for years, and until now, I’ve generally had decent experiences. However, starting March 1, they began charging a 2.75% fee on all credit card transactions—a fee they used to cover themselves. Instead of simply raising their prices to reflect the cost of doing business, they’ve decided to pass this fee on to customers directly.
When I tipped my therapist (the co-owner’s wife) and deducted that 2.75% fee from the tip (since they decided to shift the burden onto clients), the co-owner, Michael, responded by telling me my business was no longer welcome. This reaction felt spiteful and shortsighted, especially toward a long-standing client who has spent years supporting their spa.
I find this new policy and the co-owner’s behavior unprofessional and disappointing. If this is how they choose to treat loyal patrons—by nickel-and-diming and then pushing them out when they don’t simply accept the extra charge—you have to wonder how they’ll treat new or occasional customers. Instead of clumsily adding a credit card surcharge, they should just raise their prices if they need to cover costs.
I would advise anyone looking for a spa in Fort Lauderdale to consider other places—ones that appreciate their customers and handle policy changes with integrity and respect. You deserve better than hidden fees and owners who turn on you over a...
