The Spa at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach — Attraction in Fort Lauderdale

Not the best spa experience, but certainly not the worst. When I arrived, I was given a brief tour, then I spent some time relaxing before my treatment.

I was told they ordered robes that had shrunk, so if I needed another one, to let them know. I ended up just wearing my Beach coverup that I arrived in because the second robe was very scratchy. I’ve never had issues with robes before, so that was off-putting.

There are multiple waiting areas, so when the hour strikes, it’s like a cattle call in the waiting area. I have a unique name and never heard my name called. Eventually, the therapist found me and we got started.

I had a little sunburn and my therapist voiced concern about doing a chemical peel on my face. I asked her for a recommendation for another facial, that wouldn’t include a peel. She said the peel would probably be fine and we continued. I asked again for a facial recommendation that would be best for my skin, but she insisted this would be fine.

The spa doesn’t have music, so she let me know she’d play music from her Pandora. I thought it was strange that the spa doesn’t have music, but she made up for it.

I love facials and get them regularly. This is probably one of the least favorites I’ve ever had. The motions were all very fast and almost a little rough - not exactly relaxing.

All in all, not bad, but also not worth...

Clean welcoming atmosphere, always love the spa aroma. We have been here several times as we enjoy celebrating our wedding anniversary at the place we were married. The reason I gave 3 starts this time around was because this was my first specialty pedicure and it was just ok. 1st the massage chair was broken after fussing with it for 10 min or so the nail tech told me it was broken. I said it was uncomfortable because the positioning of the massage gears in the inside were protruding into my mid back section. She handed a small pillow and it helped a little but was overall still uncomfortable the remainder of the pedicure. I was disappointed to able to use the massage feature or the chair and also was not able to truly sit back and relax which was the whole point. The pedicure itself was the same as a local nail salon if that. The hot stone massage was barely a message just passing of some warm stones quickly over my skin... Egh overall mediocre. I wouldn't try it again. Also there was some construction going on over head the spa area which no one told us about in advance. So my husband was in the other room getting a massage with a very loud knocking noise happening in the background. It was very loud and not something that could be un noticed. Overall satisfactory spa experience...

I rented four rooms for four days so the family could get together for my sons graduation. I was looking forward to a comfortable experience. Notwithstanding, despite the rate for the rooms I had to pay, it was not communicated to me in advance that the rooms would not be cleaned. After two days, I called on the phone for the rooms to be cleaned and I was told that housekeeping would not go inside to clean the rooms but, that I was only entitled to a change of towels. I was told the rooms would only be cleaned when I checked out. I asked about the bedding being changed and was told I could be delivered sheets but had to change my own bed. I am very disillusioned I was not notified in advance that the rooms would not be cleaned. I ended up having each family member in their own rooms clean their own toilets, etc. I reserved a cabana for the family and I got there with the family I was told it has been given to someone else. The food at the restaurant, i.e., the chicken wings, gave four family members diarrhea. There was only one waiter at the restaurant at the time. When you call the front desk, the phone rings and rings endlessly without an answer. When I was checking in, the front desk kept on putting different callers on hold and did not attend to them.
