Management does not know how to treat customers sadly. The place looked nice so I was excited to get my nails done here. I showed my tech a photo of what I wanted (the first photo) and I didn’t receive what I asked for. It was $200 for the tech to do what he wanted, not what I wanted. The only change I asked for was for the nails to be more rounded. I also asked for the tips to be black as I recently lost a family member. My tech told me “white looks better”. They’re my nails? I agreed because it was already an extremely rough day for me and I just waned my birthday nails to be cute so I could have something to make me feel a bit better. He did the stars in silver. And once I realized I spoke up and asked for help. My tech did not speak very much English, obviously not an issue. When the manager came over he got upset at me and claimed the photo didn’t look gold it looked “more silver” which is something that should’ve been clarified if there was any confusion. The manager said to me “why didn’t you speak up?” Which was shocking for sure considering that is what I was doing by talking to him. I told the manager “who would I have spoken to?” And then I began to tell him how I was already having a rough time because my cousin had just passed and it was my birthday the next day so I just wanted what I asked for. He interrupted me and got even more upset. I ended up having to be the problem solver and said “why don’t we just add the gold dots like in the photo and move on?” Because he hadn’t even done the gold dots and he wasn’t adding the colorful gems like the photo has. The manager agreed and we carried forward with my service. The gold dots are quite big in my opinion but I just wanted to trust my tech and his vision. Well as you can see on my pinky he still didn’t want to add the colorful gems. They’re birthday nails. I’m grieving. I want what I asked for? So I spoke up and told him I wanted color, once again for a 3rd time begging for the photo I showed him. Now I will say he was extremely kind as a tech, he was trying his best I think? But I just wanted what I asked for. I’m not sure why he wanted to do what he thought would look good not what I was the client asked for. I do think the managers behavior was rude and unacceptable. There was no need to interrupt me and tell me to calm down. (I was not angry by the way, just trying not to cry) I tried to be nice and just carry on. But $200 for these nails is absurd and honestly I’m heartbroken. It’s been a rough week and this is just unacceptable. I would not recommend this salon if the management treats miscommunication like this. The tech himself even seemed anxious and nervous. It’s not his fault that he needed a translator. The management needs learn how to treat customers. These are not what I asked for.

To be honest I’m a little disappointed. I first came in and showed a picture of what I wanted I asked how pricing goes depending on length the woman at front counter explained everything and was helpful. Once I was seated and assigned a nail tech I then showed the same photo, he then put my tips on and went on to cut one nail and asked me how long I would like… I said not super long but i don’t want them really short either I reference the picture asked how much it would be to go little longer then what he had cut off the one nail he said $60 for longer length but he never took off that nail and started new he continued to cut and at that point I didn’t want to be that one customer to be rude/upset and make him start all over because despite then little inconvenience of him cutting it shorter than I expected my nails to be he was very nice. So I rate this sole experience as 3 stars Because I agreed to paying the $60 for the shape & longer length but I left with what in my eyes would be considered a short nail length… so for that I feel I was a little overcharged for just a plain color acrylic and short length I left with. Also while paying for my service i was asked if I liked my nails I did mention to the woman how I didn’t think the shade of acrylic would be as light and had wished it was slightly darker shade. I wish I did speak up then vs after I paid because within 15 minutes I was back in salon after expressing to my fiancé I wasn’t 100% in love with the color outcome. When I went back to see if it was possible to change color and ask how much it would be I was told it would be additional $20 just for a gel nail color to be put over top my acrylic. To me it wasn’t worth a total of $80 so that it be fixed to my liking when already I felt overcharged for the length of my nails I wanted to love my set so much but I don’t 100% so please take your time picking out your color and ask to see it possibly on a nail or swatched on napkin before hand. speak up if you don’t like something and if you have more questions just ask them I regret it. Now I’m spending more money to fix my nails how I want them days before my elopement. First photo -the color and length I wanted (without glitter) Second photo- my nails Following photos show gel not covered over full nail, looks like I need a fill already, and possible lifting on a couple nails

This was my second time being serviced and I was truly disappointed. As a family we spent around $400 dollars and I felt like the customer service was terrible . The receptionist at the front desk with highlights she was very welcoming and nice. The water for my pedicure was lukewarm so I asked if I could have hot water. I asked twice because it turned off quickly. Linda was the woman who did my pedicure and she never asked if the water was better. She didn’t interact me whatsoever . I picked a regular nail polish for my pedicure. I let her know that I loved the color but that it looked thin. I asked her if she felt it would show up because of the consistency. She shrugged and said it would after three coats. I said do you have something similar but thicker. She brought me a color that was totally different. She does my color and I’m trying to be confident with the application, but she finishes and there is bubbles all throughout. I mean it looks like I hand painted my nails, and not like they been professionally done. So I tell her the application doesn’t look smooth and she’s looking at me confused. But it clearly looks bad. So she takes it off, and I go find another color. The nice receptionist offers her help and points out another color almost identical in less than a minute. She repaints it and i was asking if she’d even out my pink toe shape because it was slanted. Linda would say okay but then ignore me. So my big toes were both uneven . She chose to not to file my nails. Then when it was time to do gel manicure, another person did my hands. He did a good job but they would look at each other and then me and laugh. He wasn’t any nicer. They both didn’t make me feel welcomed. Very off putting. Last visit March 20th.

I was a loyal customer with 77 Nail Bar for many years. I spent hundreds of dollars every month from nails to pedicures services. Today, Sunday, July 7, 2024 I had an unpleasant experience. I arrived as a walk in early this afternoon and was told to come back in an hour and 15 minutes. (Now keep in mind their business hours are shorter on Sundays and their website says walk-ins are welcome). This was an inconvenience for me but I came back and got my nails done and had trouble finding a certain shade color to my satisfaction. The nail tech Nathalie was reluctant to helping me find a nail color and at one point she refused to show me a sample of some colors on a sample nail, she told me their on the wall by pointing and she had another lady help me. Her servicing me was a bit off/condescending and I sense her constantly distracting me from enjoying my movie on my phone. Also after my nail service I had a pedicure I told the tech Lyn prior to my pedicure that I have sensitive feet and to be gentle please and I do not want any cut from the cutters and she said ok. She did the opposite and was also rough massaging my feet and legs and also polishing my toes. I was uncomfortable and constantly moving my feet letting her know non verbally and I reminded her "no cut", she said "no cuticle cut" (At one point she nicked my toe with the cutter). She was somewhat nice but did not do what I asked her and was rough. She needs to learn more English in which she told me she only spoke some English, but she understood everything I was saying to her. Lyn also told me to sit for a few moments for my toenail polish to dry and minutes later another lady came by and said the same thing to me. So I sat a few minutes for my toenail polish to dry. Then the manager yelled at me from across the salon stating I can leave. I told her I was told to wait until my toe polish is dry and I can not walk in the flip flops they provided(they were not safe to walk in nor drive in). She continue to yelled at me stating were closed!! I got up went to check out and told the front desk receptionist they have to do better with their customer service and the manager (Asian female)interrupted my conversation turned around at me and walked toward me and yelled at me again stating they do give good customer service. She did not listen to what I was saying nor she did not apologized or offer to accommodate me. I refused to argue with her so I continued to checkout and left the salon. I spent almost $100.00 today. Overall, my experience at 77 Nail Bar was very unfortunate. I did not feel relaxed, pampered and appreciated. If it is okay for the manager(s) to show this type of unruly behavior then it's sending a poor message to the other employees, customers and our communities. If the nail salon waited on me when I first arrived I would have been gone before closing. Also when you are finishing up with customers and you're closing the store the professional thing to do is take care of your customers and not rush them out the door, in this profession you may have to stay after closing. It doesn't matter how nice a salon looks on the inside; if the managers and employees are lacking kindness and respect. This salon need some people skills training. I hope this does not happen to...
