New York Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Fort Worth

We ate a meal here while staying at the hotel next door. OK so the appearance is just a regular walk in pizza place look - very low key, nothing special.

There was a cook back in the kitchen, an expediter at the counter, and a server. Server was friendly & as timely as she could be serving the room on her own & helping get out to go orders.

I say all that "average place" stuff above because I'm about to get to the good stuff.... We ordered a chicken pasta dish (Chk Caborini I think, I don't remember 🤔) & a small special pizza. It was SO good. If I lived nearby I would eat here all the time! That chicken dish in particular was awesome- very bright & light sauce, good ingredients, chicken was cook just right - not dried out.

They also have the regular sodas & tea but we just had water as we were dehydrated from traveling all day. They do offer bottle service if you bring your own wine. & they have dessert offerings as well but we didn't even look because we...

My first time at this place tonight I ordered a pizza and went and picked it up. The ordering process was a little burdensome because the website is not super friendly but I was able to get it done. My pizza was promised to me in a half an hour 45 minutes because it was a Friday night and I'm sure they were busy. I got there in about 25 minutes and only waited 5 minutes so it was on the lower end of the promise time. When I got the pizza home and open the box I was a little disappointed in how it looked. The sauce and the cheese did not go out far enough on the crust so there was a good inch and a half to 2 in of bear crust almost all the way around the pizza. That wasn't a great visual presentation on my first pizza. However, when I tasted it it was very tasty. The sauce was seasoned right, the toppings while a little sparse were all flavorful, and the crust was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Overall it was a pretty good pizza. A bit too dark, even for pizza. No annoying music. Two TV’s, I could hear audio from one behind me but could not see it. Staff consisted of two people, the cook and counter(table cleaner cashier server etc) . Both were quiet folks. I ordered one pizza (small) two options, by the slice or a whole small pizza (enough for 1-3 people). Pizza was delicious, just the right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. Edge crust was softer and had a lift to keep contents on the pizza, a slight crunch with a great taste and right amount of chewy texture. The pizza didn’t weigh heavily on stomach like many do. I didn’t order a salad so can’t comment on that Food was prepared timely and hot. With all the eatery’s around the area, they had a decent amount of customers coming and going.
