The Studio DFW — Attraction in Fort Worth

Ive now gone to see Alyssa twice since i first found her on instagram and let me tell you, shes HIT it both times. The first time going to see her was for a haircut, i have really thick hair and was wanting some layers put in. I showed her a couple pictures and she was able to give me exactly what i wanted! We then set up an appointment for a foilayage, which was yesterday. When i tell you i have NEVER loved my hair more than i do right now, i mean it. I may have been in the salon for a while but she made everything so worth it (as i knew she would). Shes been very sweet and welcoming both times ive come in. On top of Alyssa being amazing, the energy in the salon is as well. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive of each other and honestly that alone will tell you how good a salon is. This was by far the worst haircut experience I've ever had. I paid $130 dollars for a haircut that I absolutely hate. For context, I am from L.A and needed a haircut before my wedding. I have had many haircuts in my 33 years, I've paid $200 - $50 for haircuts. I am extremely blind so when I have my glasses off, I can't see anything, so i didn't really know what it looked like until after she was done. I asked the stylist if we could do color and cut, and she said no. Just cut, I felt like I was bothering her. I felt as if my request was absurd. The worst part of it all is she cut my hair however she wanted. I showed her a picture, and she cut it, not even close to what I wanted. It was my first time coming in and I instantly fell in love. The atmosphere was amazing and very welcoming at a first glance. Walking past the doors I was warmly greeted and met by my hairstylist, Neal. He was fantastic and very patient with my decisions and explained to me step by step how the process would be. Every couple of minutes he would check in to see if I felt confident about how everything was coming together and was an overall positive experience going into my first extreme makeover.
