Will Rogers Equestrian Center - Burnett Building — Attraction in Fort Worth

Fond memories of this place... back in the 70s my dad got to use the Bell Helicopter corporate box seats. I didn't realize then how awesome that was.... really enjoyed at the time though. Back when it was just the audience, cowboys, cowgirls, horses, cattle, announcer and the band. No big screens, no ads plastered everywhere, nobody lost in cell phones... Just the action, smell and sounds of a rodeo. And Whiplash, 'The World's...

Unbelievable amount of history, classic pre-50s architecture. Many many bldgs, arenas, drives, stock holding places...rodeo competitions regularly...also in Museum and Stadium Distrct. Rode Bus #TheDash @TrinityMetro FW Transit. Easy to spend a whole day here...especially if event going on like when I came...

I love Will Rogers, but it's getting alittle pricey. Parking is now 12.00 per day even if you're showing. Food consessions are also alittle high. 3.50 for cup of coffee, 9.00 for small nachos. I mean I know everyone has to make a buck...
