Leo J. Ryan Park — Attraction in Foster City

Nice place to take a stroll and enjoy the day watching water birds frolic in in the lagoon, and during certain periods, Jelley fish rising to the surface, and on sunning days, picnic or lay on the abundant grass lawns, soaking in the sun. Park is well groomed and maintained. Restrooms are available in a separate building and within the recreation center in which is located a senior center, a Chinese school, dance pottery, dance and exercise classes are conducted. Park has bocce ball, basketball and tennis courts and even a boat rental if you want to kayak in the lagoon. Plenty of free parking spaces in the three parking lots with handicap parking spaces in each. Entire park, including buildings, are handicap accessible. The park was amazing and the water was very clear. also did some kayaking ! I wonder how is it living in the houses which face directly towards the water! in fact the water body is the continuation of the ocean!!! I roamed around the city too and everyone who owned houses on the banks had a boat in the backyard and some in the water itself. had a very European feel to it. bay area doesn't stop to amaze me. may be the best city for me so far in bay area and prolly one of the cleanest parks I have been to.

This is one of the parks in my area where I love to go to. It has luscious trees. Surrounded by water and green grass everywhere. The park is well maintained. It's a perfect location for weddings, photo shoot, any outdoor events of your choice as long as it is approved by park's regulation. What I like about this park is there' a trail leading up to a secluded spot where there's just trees, it's like you can do a mini hike or do your meditation or yoga because it is away from the hustle and bustle you would normally see in a regular park.
