It took nine weeks to "complete" my project with Michaels framing department. Countless in-person visits. Endless wasted phone calls. And when it was all said and done, it wasn't. One framed print was acceptable (after a couple of fixes), but the other framed print, not so much. I was called 11 days ago to let me know that the final frame job was complete, but the department supervisor needed to review and "approve" the job before it was released. Yesterday, they finally called back to say it was indeed ready for pickup. Well, not only was the print hung upside down, but it was still framed incorrectly from what we had discussed, the mat board was off, and worst of all, they had damaged a print that I had paid hundreds of dollars for just a year ago. I'm not sure I've ever experienced this unique of a customer experience. Calling to check on the progress of this framing job, only to be disconnected at least a half of a dozen times on as many occasions. I even called the 800 number for customer service in the last two weeks who had the same problem - got hung up on two times. So, they said they sent an email to them on my behalf. Never heard a peep back. And the staff there just laughed the phone problem off, saying, "Yeah, our phones have been really messed up for weeks now." For weeks? That's crazy. In the end, it'd be one thing not to be completely satisfied because something wasn't quite right or that the customer service wasn't overly great, but these guys damaged my print. And they knew it. My compensation? I didn't have to pay for that particular frame job. Wow. That's like bringing your car to a dealership to have the oil changed, they damage the body while it's in the shop, and they don't charge you for the oil change. My recommendation to anyone considering Michaels for framing...DON'T! Just don't.

I likes this place a lot. The workers were chill and did not bother you unless you asked them a question. It was sooo clean and organized I kept trying to find dust in dark corners but found none. Jk. But for real don't come without the free time to browse. I have about ten projects going on in my apartment now after my visit. All things I very much wanted to improve but didn't know how to do it until I came here and started seeing all the tools and what not to make my imagination come to life. Love this place!

Love this store 🎨 so many good finds & love the good sales on most things 😄 tons of supplies for any craft you could think of — painting, knitting, scrapbooking, candle making, woodworking, coloring, drawing… it’s an endless wonderland! 🌈 Happy to shop locally and keep being creative 😊

Update: Josh the manager called me to apologize for acting out so harshly towards me which I really appreciated. So for that I upped their review.

Original review: One of the managers there, Josh, is AWFUL. He was extremely rude in front of other customers. I ordered curbside and no one was coming out so I went into the store and thought it would be easier to just grab it. He very rudely told me “there’s 2 people working registers you have to wait” I then said then let me know it’s gonna be 10 min so I know” and he said “I heard her tell you a few minutes, you need to wait” another manager Aubrey (who was amazing!) then came and helped me immediately. I went to Michaels to purchase individual boxes for my Halloween cookies. The store was organized very well. Everything was neatly arranged. I was fortunate to run into Hayden who explained how I could get a coupon on my cell phone. When I checked out, I asked the clerk to speak to the store manager. When she arrived, I asked her for her name. She said it was Hayden. Whoever made her the store manager, made a wise decision. I also called the 800 number to give my compliments about the store.
