Still amazing in 2025 very clean kind staff including Kacia that helped us with purchasing tickets and very accommodating. She let me know there was a party going on and I choose the sofas upfront. That was the best decision and the movie was funny my daughter really enjoyed it. She always gets sleepy towards the middle and wants to sit with me so if you have a little one get the cuddlers upfront plenty of space for snuggles and no tears or swore legs lol Thank you Emagine $5 Rewards Tuesday all day and complimentary Rewards popcorn🤗🤗 10/10 Spring Break with the Kiddos
The staff was phenomenal in getting my daughter's jacket back once they confirmed it was there. If you need to reach out their text option is the best route and I appreciate everyone that made this a smooth process and so accommodating when I couldn't make it the day it stormed. My only suggestion is the food staff is aware for Tuesday if someone doesn't know the popcorn Rewards limit make sure they know they are going to be charged. I was given 2 popcorns after I made clear I only wanted the Rewards one and when I got to the register I politely gave it back and I know it got trashed but the real issue was how loud it is in this area. It may have been too loud to hear me clearly as she wasn't rude at all. I highly suggest a sign to make everyone aware and not waste food because the cashier asked if I had another rewards account and we didn't. I tried to explain to her I only asked for one and wanted to clear any confusion so we can get on to our movie. I like that we can bring blankets and pillows to get real comfy and it's clean and very accommodating for families no one is squished or uncomfortable. Might be so comfortable you fall asleep...
Read moreThe Emagine theater in Frankfort, IL is a complete movie going experience. It starts from the moment you walk in the front door. The initial entry area is spacious and there are several areas you can go to purchase tickets. You can also purchase tickets online. You are shown the available seat and you pick where you want to sit; no need to enter early to save your seats, you just need to purchase them early. The decoration is half old time movie theater and half contemporary. There is a player grand piano that provides ambiance in the bar that allows you to purchase beer, wine or cocktails. There is a food court style concession stand area that serves several varieties of pizza cooked in a wood fired stove; various appetizers and other usual movie fare. It is important to note that Emagine serves not only standard popcorn, but also offers real melted butter and if you would like, can mix in cheddar and/or caramel corn with your popcorn at a very reasonable price. The actual theaters are amazing. The electric reclining seats are luxurious and comfortable. The spacing is generous and you have plenty of room to walk down the seating rows even with all of the seats reclined and leg rests elevated. This is nice in that it allows individuals going to the restroom during the showing to quickly move down the row and only minimally interrupt the viewing experience. The screen projection is crisp and the audio was very clear and not overly loud. As for pricing, this isn't a cheap place. The drinks are pricey, but the food was actually a great value for the quality. I do not go to movies much, but after this experience I may just start going a bit more. To this...
Read moreWhile the movie experience was very good. I do have some reservations about those who deliver the food to your seat. My wife and I ordered food,I watched the young man come into the theater walk to the H level and ask the people directly behind us about the food we had ordered. The couple behind us said that it wasn't their food. Now one would think that the server would look at the receipt again to verify if he were in the right row. Instead he exits the theater, now I'm think (ok it's a little dark, maybe he went out to read the receipt and he'll be back)NOPE 20 minutes later, I go out to the concession stand and what do I see, my food sitting under a heat lamp.....I asked one of the concession workers for the manager and I was asked what was it about. I just repeated myself and got the manager.
I spoke with the manager and expressed my concern about the server not even taking time to look at the receipt to verify the seating location. I have no idea as to why he never attempted to return to the theater. I was asked if the food was hot, I explained that it was sitting under a heat lamp for the last 20 minutes, it was no longer freshly made.
After speaking with the manager the situation was rectified, but as I told her this is not the first time I've ordered food and never received it. I thanked her, but I believe that it will be awhile before I go back wan watch a...
