Hurkamp Park — Attraction in Fredericksburg

Nice park. The only issue I have is that the bathrooms are open 8 to 8, and they are Auto locking, which means if you walk in the park at night (like I love to take walks at night) you are out of luck. It's a nice, convenient location in downtown, and you would think that it wouldn't be problematic with having the bathrooms open 24/7. OH well. It's wide open, so it's easy to play games in. I never get to see the events, as I work 2 jobs, and the only times I get to the park...

Anyone who's Anyone has their event here because of it's perfect location and ample space. Plus, now there are bathrooms! The Farmer's Market is always a great place to get fresh & local produce, and there's almost always something community based happening on the weekend. There's lots of benches and even a "LOVE" for middle schoolers to Instagram pictures in front of that they'll delete in a couple years when they realize it's cringy. Overall,...

I LOVE the Fredericksburg Farmers Market! The best and biggest ones are the first of the month, but they all are great! I think yesterday may have been doggy day (so many people with dogs!). They are starting a co-op grocery store - so excited! I love the plants and produce, but they also have kettle corn, fresh breads, seafood, meats, soaps, lip balm....artwork....so much stuff!
