This was my second time staying here. Overall, it was a very nice stay. The front desk staff were welcoming and professional during both visits. Beautiful lobby and hotel. ||Nice size shower and good water pressure. Very well-appointed hotel room. Very nice bedding and comfortable bed. I like that the sheets looks like they are professionally pressed. I do not like wrinkled bedding you see at a lot o hotels that are sloppily made. The sheet and bedspread here are very nice quality and pristine. There is a very long desk with draws if you are visiting for business. Good and dependable Internet. Nice chair to relax and a desk chair. There is great lightening in the room and a gorgeous chandelier (see image). The room is elegantly decorated, bright and inviting. The hotel room floors are beautiful and there is carpet under the beds which is nice. There are not a lot of places to put your clothes if you are staying long term and very few hangers. There is a small refrigerator, a steamer, and a safe in the room. I prefer an iron and ironing board but steamer worked OK but may not work well for more difficult clothing. ||Nice view from my room and quiet. The room was clean upon arrival. I am not sure how well housekeeping does on longer stays but first impression and condition of the room was very good. ||Valet parking is offered but there is plenty of parking in the area. There are stores and restaurants in walking distance of the hotel as well. The hotel sits in a nice and quiet neighborhood. ||Cons: Small bathroom, especially the sink, there is nowhere to put your toiletries because too small (see image). Also, they provide bottled water on the night stand next to the bed which is nice but you cannot tell if they were previously open. They may want to just hand out when you check in. It is unclear how long they have been there or if they are changed out after each guest. ||Food: This was the worse part of my visit, I ordered from the restaurant downstairs and paid for room service, gave a large tip, and unfortunately all the food was cold, the bread was stale, all the food tasted awful, there were missing items and the order was just all wrong. Absolutely no care was put into getting the order right, in presentation, or in quality, it did not match the quality of the hotel. Worse, they did not even try to make it right. The person taking my order got nothing correct about my order which was very simple, thank goodness I do not have food allergies. I would definitely not order here again. I also ordered dessert which was supposed to come with ice cream and this is what they sent (see picture). ||No pets are allowed and I did not see any, so that is good news for those who want that option. Overall, good but short stay but terrible food and service from the restaurant (the hostess who took the order) not those who delivered,...

I stayed here a few weeks ago and was floored when they unexpectedly upgraded me to the presidential suite. As a titanium elite member, I get upgraded every once in a while but this was so nice and WAY above and beyond what I was expecting. I think this suite would be PERFECT for a bridal party to get ready because of all of the seating, space, and natural light. Plus, two bathrooms is a huge plus.

The building is beautiful and the room was gorgeous. My room had a couple of patio doors and windows that opened. I felt the bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were super nice. I had a view of the cemetery (which I loved) and the location is right in historic downtown, so there are plenty of places to walk to. I chose to utilize valet, but there is a parking garage next door where you could self-park as well. The front desk workers both the night I checked in and the next morning were so kind.

The only two “cons” (which I honestly could see they’re more like “growing pains” since it is recently opened) were the temperature of the room and the speed at which the front desk answered the phone to have valet retrieve the car in the morning. For the temp, I had the thermostat all the way down at 65 but the room felt significantly warmer than that. However, the windows did open and the outside air cooled it down a little bit. For the front desk/valet, I called from my room phone and it took a little while for them to answer but eventually they did and valet had my car out front within 10 minutes.

I would recommend this hotel because of the location and how unique it is inside. I work in the area frequently and it’s one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at here. I’m sure the growing pains will work themselves out. I’ll actually be back next week for work and I’m bringing my family along this time, I am looking forward to staying there again.

One last piece - if you Door Dash to the building, make sure you have the address for the front entrance, not the back. Where the building is situated, there are doors on two streets and it can be easily confused. Just...

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. We love that they preserved an historic building, and the location is excellent. It just needs better management. ||The food at the restaurant is fantastic, but it takes forever during breakfast. We frequently couldn’t get an elevator, because there was no freight elevator, and staff was always using it for housekeeping or something. ||When providing rooms, you are really providing sleep. This was quite difficult for our family due to many issues with the rooms. There was a very bright red light in room 218, which came from the intake vent for the AC. It lit up the entire entry hall as well as the sleeping area. It looked like a hospital. While the engineer begrudgingly fixed it on our 2nd day, it made it difficult to sleep on our first night, and it should not have existed in the first place. Also, on night one, there was no air conditioning blower in another room, due to poor maintenance. And, there was lots of light coming into the room, because the door to balcony is poorly covered, with a venetian blind which lets in tons of light. (216)||But worst of all, one night, the security guard was banging on the door at 3 AM. Apparently there was some guy on a balcony who claimed he was in our room. AND SHE BELIEVED HIM, instead of knowing, from the outside, which room was which. We did NOT get back to sleep that night. ||And, the housekeeper has no idea which is the top of the duvet cover, so we slept with them upside down the entire stay, with the duvets (we hope they were clean) poking through. She also put a duvet cover with a tear in it on the bed, as well as a bottom sheet with a tear in it on the bed.||Lastly, the front desk manager promised that general manager would contact us regarding security guard waking us in the middle of the night, and we never heard from him. Even though we called 3 days later and left a...
