Stage Door Productions — Attraction in Fredericksburg

I love this community theater. The kids and adult programs are done amazingly. Plus concessions and alcohol during shows is a blast. Yummy popcorn and good selection of drinks. Each time I come back they've added to and improved their space. (They are customizing the space for even more productions.) So excited to see this place grow.

Update: sadly this group is on the 3rd floor and the elevator has been broken for about 2 years. It doesnt change my rating because it isn't their fault. (They dont own the building.) But it makes it very difficult...

Went to see "Clue" last night, the show was top notch, but...I only got to see half of the the action on the stage! Never having been to this theater, I was unaware that the back rows on the left side (facing the stage) have an obstructed view of half of the stage! There is a LARGE post in the middle of the aisle completely blocking the right side of the stage. Management needs to state this on their website when the public is purchasing tickets, "Partially Obstructed View", so that theater goers that end up in these seats don't...

Enjoyed another new found jewel in the area with Stage Door's Production of "Play On." Thoroughly delightful as well as funny and played so well. Like many mysteries, it had its surprises, twists and turns ... and also tons of subtle chuckles as well as not so subtle chuckles. Each character seemed to steal the show with their own personalities, whether it was their own individual personality being played or the role of the character they were playing. Go see it for an evening of...
