Okay if there was a negative 10, i would have given it to this place, read on.
I came here once and should have leaned my lesson. I had them put in some speakers in my back truck on my 01 Honda civic. It was more than I thought and their advertised prices are false and they WILL try and up sell you ASAP. I left after paying way to much and heard a rattling in the area where they installed the speakers. I looked via the trunk. They used ZIP ties to secure the speakers and cardboard! Took it back and asked for the speakers baffles and they wanted 30 a piece and it was some hood looking dude that got upset.
2 years pass and I see a special and I say " Hey i am the unforgiving type" went back for some 4X10 for my truck. Went in there and the installers smelled like marijuana and they were tatted up with gang tattoos on the all hanging in the front bay. I walked in and asked for a particular size and am told only ones they have are 200, I explain the sale ad and am told they are out. I had enough. I leave.
As I am driving out some Armenian looking guy comes and tried to stop me in the parking lot. He says " hey buddy, we have some for cheaper come in" and goes to open my door. I close the door and the idiot opens it again . I told him they suck and quick scamming people who earn money for a living. He yelled something in Armenian and walked...
Read moreI went to this shop spent $3600 on my stereo, they installed it... or so they say... They didn't seal the door speakers, they charged me for special mounts that they didn't use, all of my wires to my cap were loose, the wires to the fuse holder were showing copper instead of being sealed, they had no idea how to setup a combiner, they had no idea how to use an eq with a head unit because they tried to adjust my eq on my deck instead of the eq I bought from them. I told them I didn't want to see the amps and at the time of purchase they said no problem. When I got my truck back the amps were screwed to my carpet, cap screwed to my carpet, gashes in my carpet, bolts not put back in the door panel, and they had shot 12v worth of power into my accessory wire causing electrical issues in my truck that Ford had to repair on my dime... FYI my truck is a 2013 Ford Raptor so there shouldn't be any electrical issues. Ford confirmed the electrical issues were from the improper wiring preformed by Jon at Stereo Center.
They also sold me things that didn't work for what I needed, and one piece they sold went out within 1 hr of me having my truck back when that piece went out it blew the tweeters that were just installed.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!!
Looney Tunes in Clovis is wayyyyy better of a shop and they know what they are doing unlike...
Read moreI must say that they hooked my music up perfectly. However, they did not return my original receiver I had them replaced. I called the next day, and requested the return of my deck. The gentleman on the phone took a while, but he said they have it. So I go in later that day to get my receiver and another gentleman has the nerve to say, "be happy you called when you did because it would have been threw out." Oh yeah, thats some real b.s. insofar as caring for your customer 's property. Also, they did not return the wires for my receiver although the new one i bought from them had the wire harness in the package...sounds suspect to me. I think someone planned my keeping my receiver thinking I did not want it, so they could sell it later, but got upset when I called for it..I want my wire harness for my power acoustic receiver, stereo center...although you did a superior job hooking up my music, I don't appreciate how you do business....
