The place looks nice but the work done on my nails and toes was horrible. The lady that did my toes clipped one of them too low on one side and didn't even it out so it's completely lopsided. I asked her to try to fix it but she had cut the other side so low it was bleeding and red and couldn't even it out so it just had to stay that way. I got gel on my toes which is what i've gotten for years and they have never ever chipped and always last at least 6 weeks. I've had them for 2 weeks and they already chipped. My nails were not the bubble bath color I requested. I was like they just diluated the Bubble bath with clear polish and it was very thin and peeled off within 3 days. I paid 119 for the service that day which is the most I've ever paid to get pedicure and manicure. Prior to leaving the front desk lady could see I was very upset. I showed her how horrible my nails and toes were. It just looked like a kid had done them both. The gel manicure day one already looked like i needed a major fill and there were bubbles and everything. She agreed they looked bad and called the owner up to the front. He proceeded to make excuses for everything like it was ok that my nails and toes looked the way they did or somehow it was my fault. Then he offered to redo my nails but it was last and I had to leave and had a flight out of town the next morning so I didn't have time. I said I could come back when I get in town to have them redone. So when I return I went back and he wasn't there and apparently had just put 15 percent off on my service instead of redoing them like he had promised. The lady at the front couldn't get a hold of him and refused to help. She said she couldn't do more then the 15 percent. This place scammed me I can't believe I paid that much for such a horrible job on both my nails and toes. and then to lie and not offer to redo the service is just bad business. I ended up going across the street to another nail place called Frisco NailBar. It's not as nice inside but they did my nails way better and were way cheaper. Please save your money and don't go to Polished. Terrible...
Read moreI have been to this place multiple times wanting to really love it because of the convinience. I had went in once to get dip and pedi, I asked for someone specific and they said "yes they're here they are busy right now" did not give me the option to wait for them, and instead sat me with someone else. The person doing my dip did not talk the entire time except "what color", "what shape" and "does it look okay". I was very disappointed that I was not even offered a drink as this was something I was looking forward to relaxing (honestly have only been asked 2 out of the 10 times I've been there).
A week and a half later my two pinky nails popped off, which I can usually go 3 weeks without a break, so I went in to see if I could get them fixed (I was even willing to pay a small charge) . When I told the guy at the front desk I had got them done a week and a half ago, he looked at me crazy like I did not get my nails done there. He asked who did my nails and I told him I think she was pregnant I don't remember her name(because she didn't talk). He paused for a moment and asked me what the color was, and then had me sit down and walked off. I waited there about 10 minutes and in between that time someone walked in and sat down for a mani/pedi (no appointment). Finally after sitting there not being acknowledged I got up , handed the color to a manicurist and told them I'm not going to come back. Only then did they say "oh ! We have someone available RIGHT NOW"
I am not a person who minds waiting but I am also in the service/management industry and I know what customer service should look like. This place is not it, and I will not...
Read moreI went in to get a new set of nails and a pedicure. The color I selected was supposed to be nude but it came out a weird yellow white color so I asked before it was finished and he continued on for a different color. He did it OVER the first dip and did two rounds and so it looked super thick and the color was off. Before he finished the hand again I said I’m sorry to do this but it looks so terrible and the gentleman got so mad he goes “it’s what you asked for!” The lady doing my toes even agreed it looked bad and he goes “ I don’t have time for this” and instead of trying to take off the dip he took nail clippers and cut my nails so they couldn’t be used and stormed off like a child. I was completely embarrassed and have never been treated that way, I didn’t know what to do. Someone came to assist and she was very sweet and so was the pedicure lady but I was so upset that I didn’t even enjoy the $60 pedicure and started crying. Overall I spent $140 for an awful experience. Lynn and Queen were absolutely amazing but I’ll never be back and I still hated my nails. Something about the dip they use has pigment that is off and the shape and smoothness is just bleh to me. I always go to a specific place and this was just closer but lesson learned. Only reason I’m giving it a two star is because those women were so sweet. The blonde lady upfront wasn’t friendly either. She was a terrible introduction for...
