I moved up here a bit back and pass this place often. I decided to swing in and see what it was about and I'm not going to lie, it's completely not like I expected. I really didn't know what to expect. But this wasn't it. But let me tell you, that's not a bad thing. I ordered the Patty melt, the sweet and sour "chicken" (soy substitute I think) on rice, and the Mexican bowl. Oh my God. Let me start with the patty melt. I'm a sandwich guy. The bread was nicely toasted and whatever they use as a vegan cheese substitute is crazy. Like literally melts in your mouth. I tried to eat my fingers. The sweet and sour chicken was fantastic. Slightly crispy and not too too sweet but yes. It was good. I'm going to become a regular I'm thinking. The Mexican bowl is for my wife so I'll await her feedback but it's very aesthetic and smells flavorful. Idk how you smell a taste but when you know you know lol I would've only gotten the sweet and sour but I hadn't had a patty melt since I wasn't a vegetarian since I was 16 and got excited about it. Now I'm too full, just not of regret. Lol the woman that waited on me was meek but very very friendly and was excited to share her love of the food. I got a sweet energy from her. Jeff's kitchen sounds more like americanized food but the food is primarily Asian with an American twist. If you are a foodie and just love good food. Check...
Read moreThere is nothing special about this place. As you walk you will find an unwelcoming sign warning you about a series of policies like charging extra tip for a party of 5 (FIVE) people or more, or being charged for the food you try and don’t like it (I should have taken this as a warning on how bad is their food)????
The place is cooled by a single portable A/C unit when the temperature outside was around 105F. It was hot in there. I asked if there was some kind of issue or damage to central A/C and they said they didn’t have any issues.
The service was bad, we didn’t get enough utensils, we were only given two forks and two napkins for four people. Right after we placed the order for drinks and appetizers two waitresses came back in less then 2 minutes to take our order, we indicated we needed more time and one minute latter they came back to ask again if we were ready, we asked for some more time and again in less then 3 minutes they came back to ask again if we were ready. How can I go through the menu and select my meal if you don’t let me. This kept on happening for about 15 minutes.
The food is the same kind one can find at any Asian vegan place, fried tofu or bean protein shaped to look and taste like meat, not exactly on the healthy spectrum. Very greasy and with almost no veggies. The pho was bland and had little veggies. I got really tired after...

Now, the food? Unforgettable. The Buffalo Cauliflower is crispy, fiery, and addictive. It’s not just good “for a vegan dessert”—it’s good, period. Creamy, balanced, and beautifully plated.
