So I want to say this post is not about Metrolink or really the station per se it's more about the fact that if in the off chance you needed to use the bathroom inside the (Amtrak terminal) God help you because the staff is terrible. The man seems so terribly inconvenienced by any disruption whatsoever. One of the elevators happens to also be down when I arrived earlier this morning and when I asked went to inquire about whether or not it was still down. He said "the stairs are over there ma'am" what the heck. I responded with yeah thanks I'm disabled. He then told me there is a shuttle over there and pointed away from the train area. The shuttle was in fact on the opposite side of the tracks which he would have had to radio over to help me. Which he didn't even bother to offer anything more than misdirection. Well I have some direction for Amtrak officials train your people to treat Everyone with dignity and respect and there are more often than not at various stations angry and bitter Amtrak agents who seem to be in no hurry to help or serve in a customer service position. It's very sad so many people (good, friendly, honest people) looking for work and we pay for attitudes and the impression of we are somehow inconveniencing the customer service individuals....

I'm shocked. Have been in the customer service field for 24 years. With award winning customer service skills. I am traveling soon and had a quick, easy question for the Fullerton, Ca station. I do hope the gentleman that has just "helped" me is having a bad day and just stressed do to Holiday travelers. If not than I suggest he get another job. Cold, impatient, no interest in helping me and was not afraid to show it. Honey, that is your job. Instead of saying " I don't know and have people at my window. I don't have time for your question". Perhaps " ma'am I would be happy to find the answer to your question. At this time there is a long line of customers that have to board a departing train. May I get your number and call you back as soon as I get them boarded?" Or " I do apologize, my next train is leaving in a few minutes with many guests that have not yet boarded. Can I ask you to please give me a call back in 20 minutes? I would be happy to answer any questions you may have." Much more...

Fullerton, California is a charming city that effortlessly blends a vibrant urban atmosphere with a sense of community. Residents and visitors alike can enjoy the rich history preserved in places like the Muckenthaler Cultural Center and the Fullerton Arboretum. Additionally, Fullerton boasts excellent educational institutions, including California State University, Fullerton. With its pleasant climate and proximity to both Los Angeles and Anaheim, Fullerton provides a desirable balance between suburban tranquility and access to major attractions. Quite busy train station with easy access to LA Union. The bridge is a very nice place to view the trains and take pictures. Trains are actually quite well maintained, warm, and have plugs for charging. Double decker (three levels even?) trains go through that was nice. Some feedback that I would like add: Please maintain the elevators properly. There were a lot cracked windows, graffiti, and some had loud creaking sounds when operated. I think it’s very important for the elderly, tourists, and family with prams. Would be nice to have some more shelter from rain and better lighting at night. Signage for the platform number should be more visible. Make sure to check the schedule, as some are very spaced out at night.
