The group of us had an amazing time. There was every skill level of painter attending. The owner was very helpful and interactive. Our instructor was “Erin” apparently this was her first class as the lead instructor. She was awesome. It felt as she has been doing this for a very long time. Very comfortable and super helpful to all partipants. Very simple and effective suggestions and technical tips on how to paint better. They did an amazing job of elevating everyone and making them feel confident and comfortable. I have never been to anything like this as I paint in my free time at my home studio. However the atmosphere and culture they are offering invites a swift return. I would highly recommend taking them up on the group session and take the entire staff there for a team building event. If you are a small company with less then 30 employees. You will not be disappointed. Not to mention you can bring food and bottles of wine and paint the night away. Cheers to the people here for creating a cozy and welcoming environment for people to be exposed to art. More than once I overheard people saying how awesome it was to just tune out of the world for a little while and focus so deeply on something that was way outside of their normal day to day routines. Thank you so...
Read moreI called and asked Allie to have a manager or the owner to give me a call to express my concerns. No call back so I’ll just leave my review! We returned for a 2nd sessions because of how phenomenal Sierra was as an instructor. To our surprise we got Caroline and she was the total opposite! She rushed through the session not allowing us time to at least try whatever was shown. Everyone’s pictures basically looked different from the original painting 🙄. The atmosphere was NOT like the friendly, informative crowd, from our session with Sierra. At the end when everyone would take pictures in front of the PWT backdrop. Caroline and Allie(I believe was her name) were basically cleaning and packing up. So we had to ask for someone to take our picture!🙄. This experience was so unexpected and shocking because I’m the head of a Couples Group that searches for things to do in Gainesville. In which I’d spoken so highly of how myself and a few couples really enjoyed PWT (w/Sierra). Only to experience this treatment. My suggestion for whoever’s going to PWT is be sure and ask who the instructor is and if you want to get your money’s worth stick...
Read moreHorrible and I mean HORRIBLE costumer service. The owner and staff obviously have no professionalism, no respect, no empathy. How is it that I try booking a party beginning of week after nonone calls me to confirm and I finally get thru (because no one is ever there to pick up the phone) I also left text messages and emails they want to change my time for my private party which is for a bunch of moms who have to get baby sitters. I say cool we can make the different time then they say oh no never mind i spoke to the owner and she says its past the 24 hour notice for your private party (mind you the lady in front desk says : as long as you call me before 9pm I can schedule you at 4pm the next day) no one ever knows whats going on and everyone has something different to say every time . Art is supposed to be fun, joyful and yall took everything fun and joyful out about it. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS "PAINT WITH A TWIST" I hope yall get new...
