For the longest time, my Mom had been urging me to visit Fresh Kitchen, but I had always been reluctant to try new things. However, about three weeks ago, I finally ventured into this culinary gem, and my taste buds have been eternally grateful. Fresh Kitchen truly lives up to its name, offering an exceptional array of dishes made with remarkably fresh ingredients. Each item on the menu feels meticulously crafted, delivering a unique and tantalizing experience. I have found my favorite combination in their Holy Kale sauce, succulent steak, hearty brown rice, crisp green beans, and delightful Pesto Cherry tomatoes. Every bite is a testament to the dedication they put into ensuring a fresh and distinctive flavor.

This place is on the pricey side and even though it has great sides like the green beans which I absolutely scarfed done within a minute because of how crunchy and perfectly sauced they were and the mashed cauli is just incredible. I paid $15 for a bowl and was left hungry. The portion size was so tiny I was so confused. I also paid an extra $3 for steak and it was a kids sized fist.

I can get $3 worth of flank steak (2 to be exact) at Ward’s supermarket and made my own sides and have it amount to that and possibly feed myself with less than $15 by buying the rest of the ingredients at Aldi (potato , green beans & broccoli which is what I ordered in my bowl. After cooking I’d probably have leftovers too. Now after a long work day on a Friday that’s not want I want to be doing .. cooking up sides and steak just to have a simple bowl.

I was truly disappointed and I’ve come here a couple of times and I’ve seen that portion size and quality is great even for how pricey they are. This time was different and it confused me. Not sure I’ll come back because I can’t seem to scratch my mind around how you make people pay extra for protein and it’s quite honestly 7 pieces of bite sized steak and bite sized for a kid perhaps a toddler even. Very few places nowadays have truly authentic people that give you service beyond what is necessary. Usual places have lifeless carcasses that go on autopilot when they serve you. Which in turn isn’t the employees fault. It’s the business’s fault. Fresh Kitchen and its employees customer service, friendliness, and atmosphere age like fine wine. Every single day they have gotten better over the years. I didn’t get the names of the people that helped me, but that is exactly why I write this to you now. I don’t need names, because it was every single person that worked there with a uniform on. This one lovely lady said that today was her second day working there.My lord if this is her second day then what the hell is day three going to look like? I am so excited to see tomorrow. This is one of the healthiest places in town to eat and the prices make my mouth drool. Whatever the training and hiring process is here, it is just outstanding in every level. If you don’t know where to eat, pick this place if you live here or are just driving through. If you’re disappointed, just come the next day because they only get better. My review is a solid 12 out of 5 stars in all categories. This place gives you the gift that Pinocchio always wanted. You’re not a puppet to them….....
