If I could give zero stars I would. I received a ring for Valentines Day 2015 from my sweetheart. He purchased it in Ocala, but because I live/work in Gainesville, I took it to the local store for re-sizing. Upon receiving it back it appeared a stone was missing. The girl there told me it was not missing - that is just the way the ring is. I took it today to have it inspected/cleaned and immediately Lindsey states a stone is missing. I replied, "I knew it!" and explained what happened when I had it re-sized. Lindsey went to Sabrina and told her what I said and Sabrina said it is a small stone so it would cost me about $25 since we had a warranty we would not be assessed other charges. I didn't understand why I should have to pay anything since I received it back that way. Since they are not able to verify my story I have to pay. I was not happy with that. Especially, when Lindsey said, "I can't account for how they do things in Ocala." I told her that while it was purchased in Ocala, it was brought to Gainesville to be re-sized. Lindsey completes inspection/cleaning and hands me my ring and tells me, "here - you're done" and turns her back on me and walks away without a thank you or another word. She begins with another customer and that customer is also standing there in shock at Lindsey's rude treatment towards me. I then called headquarters customer service and the bottom line is they can't prove when the stone was lost so there is nothing they can do. They were not concerned about the poor customer service. Read moreOne of the store associates was very kind and helpful, I ended up ordering my earrings and opted to pick them up at the store. However I was not informed that I had a limited pickup window and that if I failed to pick them up within the window that my order would be cancelled. Once realizing this I called and had to have someone check them in for me at the store because I was out of town for Christmas and was unable to pick them up. No biggie, handled. Well I got to the store to pick them up and the lady that I handed my ID to seemed too ready to give me bad news and attitude whenever she couldn’t find them in the system. I insisted that they were paid for and checked in and she continued to tell me that that wasn’t possible because I missed my pickup window. Thank goodness another associate jumped in and told her that she had placed the items as picked up so that my order wouldn’t be cancelled. Anyways, they need to make it crystal clear that there is a limited window for pickup!! I would have made arrangements had I known about it!! That, and please be patient with people! If someone is gonna spend money at your store, regardless the amount they should be a valued customer and meeting them with attitude and disappointment on New Year’s Eve is unkind. They listened to our requests and gave us options and were both helpful at ensuring we we’re happy with our rings. It felt like we’ve always known them. They made it very easy and smooth of an experience. I walked in stressed out and told them we were in a hurry and boy did they deliver without pressure. They were both very hospitable and extremely understanding to our rushed situation. Overall, I highly recommend looking for them to help you find your dream ring(s). We love how generously caring they became and that is important to us. No sale pitch act and the high pressure of purchasing. We left feeling accomplished.
