We've been looking for new patio furniture for quite some time. We have a relatively small covered space where we wanted to put a loveseat, two chairs, and a coffee table. We've looked through numerous catalogs and websites, found some things we were considering, but weren't quite ready to make a decision.

On a bit of a whim, we decided to check out American Patio and Fireplace. I say this was on a bit of whim because we know they sell nicer stuff, and we thought things would be out of our price range. Once we got there, however, we found that American Patio and Fireplace's prices were comparable to those we were seeing online. Indeed, the prices were a bit less, especially when you take into account that the delivery fee was significantly less than it would have been had we ordered online.

We sat in all of the available chairs and loveseats. Not surprisingly, some were more comfortable than others. And while we were initially attracted to some, we found that they simply weren't as comfortable as we wanted. Thankfully, we were able to figure that out before we made a purchase!

We found a set we liked, and Devin, the office manager was extremely helpful. She was able to answer all of our questions concerning durability and care - even taking the time to email me further care instructions,. She worked with us to figure out what made the most financial sense, given our needs. Moreover, she arranged things so that the new furniture was DELIVERED to us and our old patio furniture removed WITHIN TWO HOURS of our purchase. (Please note the the shockingly quick delivery time was only possible because we bought the floor sample, and we got lucky with the truck's availability. Still, Devin had to navigate some other commitments to get us the furniture as quickly as she did.)

Overall, I strongly recommend American Patio and Fireplace. First, you you have the opportunity to see, touch, and verify the comfort many patio furniture options. This in itself is a huge advantage, since it settles any questions about comfort. Second, the people there are great. They clearly know their stuff and are happy to share their expertise (without any sales pressure). Third, they're a local company - with all the benefits that confers. I'm going to start by saying Gabe and American Patio & Fireplace did phenomenal work, they were great to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone.

We redid our patio and started looking at outdoor kitchen options. I initially looked at prefab pieces and found a few that worked. On a whim I decided to contact American Patio & Fireplace to see what a full custom piece would be. Gabe responded incredibly fast and after telling him what we wanted he came up with a mockup and recommendations. We got a quote and it was almost the same price as the prefab piece but this was entirely custom and we could pick everything we wanted.

Once the design was finalized the install came and they had everything put together and setup in a few days. The crew that came out was super nice and they did a great job. The workmanship was excellent, this kitchen is built like a tank and can withstand anything you throw at it.

Gabe was super communicative the entire time and we even made a few changes that they happily worked in for us. There was a few spots that needed to be touched up afterwards and they happily came out and patched everything with no questions asked.
